  2. Steve, I purchased mine at Annandale Super Petz... They come in different shades of BLUE (various depth in the ocean) or BLACK... It cost me approx $14 for my 55G.... Works great... Look great.. You just spray soap water on the sheet and the glass and stick it Unni

Alex, Most of them can run 7-14 differnet programs. Try to use only 1 program after your HIT the reset button with a needle. Unni
  5. I believe, the most important reason why Moonlight is desired is to prevent your fish from swimming into your hungry anemone :pumpkin: .
  6. Technology :wall:
  7. John, Post you cell # in the members sections so people can contact you in an emergency :pumpkin: Also, a few major credit card numbers with expiration would be helpfull . Unni
  8. It would be interesting to compare the actual light spectrum before using them.
  9. Luke, Are you implying that the RO/DI water will have phosphates in it if the original water had it? Unni
  10. I an offer some softies (GSP, Capanella). I believe the hair algae bloom is part of the tank cycling? Unni
  11. I wouldnt use a mouse pad.... who knows what chemical they could leach....
  12. I built mine with 1 blue led and a 5v Wallwart (radioshack) and a resistor..... Are you trying to do something more elaborate?
  13. Open it and clean it as instructed in the manual.... or you can try to run it in a bucket of vinegar water for an hour to clean them. Dirt or even air trapped in these units can cause it to vibrate. Unni
  14. Last Sunday, there was a dead deer on the side of the road (road kill) near my house. When I drive by there after dark, I have seen a red fox feeding on her. He almost... almost finished off the deer.... Today, I see a rather streached out red fox on the middle of the road... Adds a whole new perspective to "Circle" of life.
  15. Yah - but we paid for the Cow. If the hermits start chipping in some $$$ I wouldnt care.
  16. Check out their OTHER products
  17. Chip, Absolutely not..... :D I can always take some constructive criticism. I knew what I was doing was wrong - but since it was not apparent that the inhabitant were in any danger, I continued to do so. Thanks again for emphasizing the need to use pre-made water and performing smaller water changes. Everyting seems to do good - except I am starting to have some drown (diatoms) algae bloom on the substrate due to some unrelated/unexplained reason. Unni
  18. Good point... :77:
  19. If this is a tank at your work, I would suggest putting the acrylic on it to minimize evaporation...(If you like to stay home during weekends :D ) atllteast during summer months.
  20. Rob, Is your Anemone disintegrating?... if so take him out. If that is not the case, I dont think it is him. Please test your water daily to see if it is toxic for the fish. I dont have enough experience to suggest any other logical solution. Good luck man Unni
  21. Alex, Please dont add anything to your tank until it stabilizes..... ( I am assuming you have high nitrites still). Unni
  22. Are you refering to Calcium/ Alk or my practice of "dumping" fresh made saltwater into my tank? Calcuim/Alk - Did not test again (will do that in a week) Water Changes - Started using water that is mixed atleast 1 day in advance and perform smaller water changes. :D
  23. Excellent price...Do you sell PH monitors and calibration fluids??? :P
  24. Since the problem is spreading, did you check your water parameters? Unni
  25. I can't belive that your RBTA would do something this despicable. You should teach it a lesson by giving them away :P
