  1. @telegraham I think that Saltwateraquarium said they will continue to support the business. I'm not 100% sure if that mean they will continue to support the product and sell them or just provide parts. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/current-usa’s-future-is-bright-says-saltwateraquarium-com.965890/
  2. thank you! appreciate it. They look like another pest and I just want to assure whoever takes them from me don't think I am trying to pass them off. Since they are also been around WAMAS forum so so long, it would be nice to have a centralize place to list more information on them.
  3. Just looking for more information on these guys. I grab some from Leishman last year and they are going crazy in my system. The link to articles seem to not be working anymore. Do we have any additional information on them?
  4. Welcome to WAMAS!
  5. Thanks for the article!
  6. A lot of our hobby is base off hobbyist experimenting but yeah aquabiomics can get spendy unless you do their bulk buy.
  7. I would be interested to see an aquabiomics test on the system after the rocks.
  8. A video that I really do enjoy:
  9. You are far from me but if you want to take the drive to Pasadena, I can help. No compensation needed.
  10. Welcome to WAMAS Kathy. Hope you are coming to the next meeting!

  12. Same!!! I have tried 3 differetn Tunze and they would work great for a while and always end up with issues. currently using the one that comes with my hydros with no issues.
  13. Ok. You posted in the For Sale/WTB forum so I was curious. Will move to discussion.
  14. Thanks guys. Was a wild 2022.
  15. Thanks Tom. We ended up calling JES for an estimate. Unfortunately, they have to go from the top and take out our flooring to complete the job. We are looking at around 5.5k to go in, place a foundation foot (??) and a metal beem to insure it will sustain a 200gal tank. So I might have to delay this project a bit until the funds are available. Looking for a second job now
  16. I use Rowaphos. Not sure if there is really a difference between it and generic GFO or if there is a difference besides texture/size, etc? I use the smallest lifeguard reactor for the small frag tank system. Works well for me.
  17. hello, are you looking for an item to buy or seeking help with method?
  18. Recently we replaced the Red Sea and a small frag tank on the left hand side of section. When I brought the Red Sea tank over, I decided to take off the back to access the plumbing and have it go into a central sump for the rest of the shed. What I didn't realize was how much the back piece was providing support for the stand.... it's just a plastic piece . It caused the stand to have a lot more movement and the weight was making me worried so we ended up ordering a frag tank (96x24x12) from Aquarium and Terrarium Builder. @husbwifereefer picked up his tank and offered to bring me back mine so it worked out perfectly! The tank at the shop: It has 4 x 3/4" return 4 x 1" drain Total cost was $1800 It arrived on 12/17/2022 and we got to working 12/31/2022. My neighbor took the Red Sea tank and @SemperFiSeaCoral the small frag tank so I didn't have to worry about storing them yay!!! It took us one day to fish out all the fish and corals, empty the tanks and down the street it goes! Frag tank went in it's place and plumbing the next day! (not in pic but we did add ball valves to each of the return) The move was a success!!! Have a few leaks but nothing plumber's puddy wouldn't solve
  19. I like it! I am still thinking of the ext 200 but stuck on the foundation problem. Congrats and can't wait to see it!
  20. Oh weird. This is the wifi version?
  21. I don't have that specific one but I have the X1 Pro-T. I set it up as continuous at a certain speed but have an external hydros plug that that turns on and off at specific time. Any smart plug will do but I wanted mine connected to a controller as a secondary precautious as it also monitor alk. So you can set the controller to turn off the doser if alk is higher than a certain Ph.
  22. Moving to discussion forum.
  23. Anyone have reference or can help with putting in a support beam for my foundation? I have a crawlspace (tight squeeze) and is looking to put some support to my foundation for a possible tank. I am located in Pasadena, MD 21122. Thank you. P.S. I am not handy and please don't message me with how to do it myself.
