  1. If anyone was curious this is the answer I got over at r2r. http://www.reef2reef.com/threads/wrasse-questions.202898/
  2. Google doesn't fail me often but I think this time it's confused.
  3. I'm looking to get a wrasse for my tank. I was curious about how wrasses change sex. If I only put one in my tank would it change sex? If it was male would it turn female or if it was female would it turn male? Not sure how the sex of wrasses wrasses work.
  4. I might have to see what he has here in a few months.
  5. He seems to work with group buys pretty easily too.
  6. You have me thinking about a way to rig this up for my sump now. I don't have room for chaeto but I'm still lookin for a natural way to control it.
  7. I run it2040's and have 2 on my 90g 4' tank. The coverage is complete but wish I had a bit more. Might be just the led pattern. They are great lights and much cheaper. They come in 3 different sized I believe. It2040, it2060, and it2080. Check out some reviews on these. Not too sure what your coming from but I know the growth is slower with these but I get great colors.
  8. I just put 2 in my tank. Ive read that they move to find better flow and light options. From what I understand, it knows what it likes better then us.
  9. Another thought that just came to mind is, how do you attach the auto feeder if you have a screen? From what I remember it would clamp to the side of the tank but now that a screen is in the way that wont be possible. Am I just over thinking this?
  10. I bought the screen from a lfs so I'm assuming its large enough. As for the canopy, I like those too but didnt have the space from one on this tank. Maybe once I move I will make one. We will see. Thats all on what the girlfriend wants.
  11. Does anyone have an auto feeder on their tank along with a screen covering it? Im curious on how this works. Does the food just fall through the screen? Did you cut out a section for the food to fall through? I just got the materials for my screen and I will end up needing an auto feeder so I was looking for some direction on the best way to do this with combination of the 2. Thanks.
  12. The clownfish are just the ocellarus clowns. As for a tang, I've read the 90 might be too small for one. We will see about one down the road. I forgot to post I have 2 small BTA also.
  13. That's actually what I have been doing. I've narrowed some down. I guess I need to post my narrowed list down and get feedback.
  14. Ugh. Thats a lot of effort. Most threads are about the equipment and the corals with very little info on the fish. At least for the ones that I have seen. example here http://wamas.org/forums/topic/71886-apcolemans-250dd/
  15. I guess maybe some suggestions on fish in these areas.
  16. Do you guys think this is a decent fish list? I want opinions on how they would interact with each other and if anyone has experience with these types of fish(i.e. how many I can have together, personalities, how difficult they can be, reef issues, ect).
  17. Getting screen this weekend hopefully. Also my skimmer is a beast from what I'm told.
  18. Looks good and happy. What anthias are those?
  19. Hey all, started a new thread because I didn't want to hijack another members thread(http://wamas.org/forums/topic/73150-recommendations-for-a-good-reef-safe-center-piece-fish-for-a-90g/). I have a few ideas for the type of fish I want for my tank. I just started my 90 about a month ago wanted to start putting a fish list together and wanted others ideas. A few things I want in my tank are a wrasse (Im liking the carpenters wrasse), some bright anthias, some sand sifters (a diamond goby and maybe a pearl jawfish), and my girlfriend wants some(?) purple firefish. So thats a def. I also want a clam. I currently only have 2 clowns, some snails, crabs and a cleaner shrimp. Do you guys think I should add one more fish or do you think that if I do it will be too much of a bioload for the tank? Thanks
  20. I ordered the cleanup crew and had one bag pretty much be all dead snails. I would say half of my snails were dead. They were also on the smaller side but you really cant beat the price. I'm probably not going to order anything again from them though. Just my 2 cents.
  21. The whales must be happy there. http://www.iflscience.com/plants-and-animals/baby-beluga-whale-born-georgia-aquarium-mothers-day
