    What does the tissue look like on the skeleton? If splitting into three defined potions then it's a branching specimen. If the tissue is one and equal all the way around then it's most likely a wall. Best of luck with the coral!

    Issac's method is one route. Can you use forceps or tongs to get an ice cube down by the foot? If so, put a ice cube in a zip lock bag and get it close to the nem's foot. This should irritate the nem so it moves. Make sure you use a bag or something else to prevent harm to the foot.

    Feed the urchin some macro and it will slow down the coralline consumption.

    I had a pencil urchin and he/she decimated the coralline off rock work and the glass in a 155 in a couple weeks.
