    Rebecca wanted a baby trigger so we now have one. A Niger about one and half inches long in a 75 gal right now by himself. Can we trade maybe a zoa frag for a couple of them? My intentions are to have her/him keep their natural hunting skills so I could use a couple of these. Let me know...oh and a ten gallon guppy/molly tank has been set up.

    I was at dr macs this weekend and they have some nice sized specimens around 4 inches at 169.99 they were healthy and fat.

    Sometimes I will use a large basket in the tank with the new specimen in it so the existing fish can come check the new one out. You'll be able to see if there is any aggression first hand without releasing the fish into the aquarium.

    Temperature has a large part in this. When I got my refractometer manufacturer recommended to test at 78 degrees Fahrenheit but the salt manufacturer recommended testing at 79 degrees. I split the difference and recalibrate the instrument once a week to maintain consistency. Make sure there are no air gaps between the glass and plastic as well.

    Stomatellas are the most underrated snail IMO and the best. They are non stop and easy to breed.

    I prefer fedex when shipping corals around. I did recently buy a large CUC from reefcleaners.org and everything turned out fine. Sorry to hear about this silliness.
