I did a glass overflow with internal mailbox style and external box drilled glass sane way as ghost and silicones glass much easier then I thought tons of help on this forum from Marco (Monkiboy) and derabt and I can help as well.

When I was building the 180 in really wanted one called talked to them last year. Told me it was going to be available in March or April of 2014. That came and passed and then they said no clue if they would sell the DIY kit or when it would be available if they sold again. Reasons that I heard why was they wanted to get it mass produced overseas then sell it. As it cost them to much to make here and not fast enough to manufacture.

I got 200lbs from Marco rock not live but very nice and no problems with phosphates. As for live I hear a lot of great things about live rock and reef.

New Life Spectrum saltwater flakes and i also use the pellets.

Tanks running skimmer is in frag tank hooked up sand in and settled added some krill to kick off the cycling. Added some led lights under the sump for more visual and maintenance then anything. Getting there molding and hanging lights over tank next. And set plumbing once I get a gate valve.

Added rock played around with it some had some help this is what I left it as for tonight was getting late. Open to critiques and suggestions.

got water going through system. 2 things I am looking at changing though. 1. tuning the beananimal with a ball valve is a pain to me. thinking of ordered a gate valve like i should of from the start. 2. not sure how fond i am of the mp40 i have 1 on each side its not that they are loud, but they seem to have a vibration to them more annoying to me.
