So I removed my two tower overflows from the 180 gallon tank and rather then just plugging the holes with glass or bulkhead we got an idea. Has any one used these as return lines come in to the tank nothing crazy just a small loc line to create flow at the bottom. (Be running bare bottom so no worries about sand storm. And yes I would run a check valve. Or is it just easier to plug then and drill 2 holes up top for returns? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

well its all done!!!!! ran into 2 problems with the skimmer though nothing to major. 1 both the hoses for the pumps to silencer are to short. 2 one of the small SCD 80 pipes was to short to friction fit so either needs to be glued or ill get a longer one.

Its the smaller in length of the 2 it just seems like they both have a slight bevel on the edge. Yea I've already started this was the part I stopped at. Probably will do more tomorrow or tonight. Just went out and got some tape for the cone. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

in the instructions it says "The groove of the bubble plate should be facing down and the beveled edge of the bubble chamber ring (2) should be facing up" But I do not see a beveled edge on the chamber ring? so does it matter?

I'll be looking at it again soon as I get some time off. Overflows are gone no turning back lol. Now 1 question what does everyone do with the old overflow holes at the bottom patch with glass or use bulkhead? Stated building it yesterday got some done after work still a lot more to go but it is pretty fun to do it all. Update for overflow just got off the phone with reef savy and lady told me there is not date for when they will re release the ghost overflows again. So either try to get a hold of another acrylic shop just to make me 2 boxes 1 internal 1 external then drill holes and do bulkheads. i use the hannah checker love this thing i just pour the the powder onto the yellow card and bend it and pour it into the vial works well and easy.
