Sorry so long since last update...added some sps some IC recently along with the rainbow poco I bought at last mtg in Jan...All doing well in my 5 gal spec tank along with my zoas...lost my green torch for some reason,? My spec v is bb..i just put in a zoa garden to hide glass bottom(or will once spreads) easy poop removal,etc...my pods,etc hide in and under my rocks...

Thats a gorgeous tank..and some of my fav tangs..unicorn and sohal..

Here we go again! Mother nature is beginning to get on my last nerve... Calling for ice/sleet tuesday pm to weds am then change to rain..winter storm warning out.. Is everyone stocked on handwarmers,batteries for your emergency pumps,battery backups full charge(wish i had one!)and plenty of blankies(for yourself and for tank covers)Everyone stay safe and PLZ be careful driving weds am...and hopefully our little reef treasures will make thru ok..

Just added two more zoas to mix...8) pics to follow.. Also put in my american insruments wireless thermometer to monitor temp in addition to the thermostat display on my cobalt;so far .5 degree difference(cobalt has warmer reading).Only two cons so far: no anchor/suction cup on sensor wire and the stand on the temp display is too short to properly prop up display(used piece of dead coral to add height to stand ) other than that... Par bulb maybe this weekend...if i can find my plexiglas to make new cover...

Had an ebo...wouldnt hold temp to save its ***...so i went with cobalt..

I have 2 cobalt neo therms and i love them, 1yr+ and no troubles at all...8)

Ive grabbed some new frags since last post..a new sps(pocci) and at least 4 new zoa frags...fire and ice,tubbs blues,not sure of name(maroon w/yellow mouth)plus a zoa from petland that looks pinkish and whammin watermelons(not sure) pics as soon as opened up for day....

I usually put mine on bottom under a thin hand towel..seems to work ok....

Hope the docs figure out whats wrong with the little one soon....it always seems to hurt more when its the littlest ones who cant tell you whats wrong...

I had one of those in my 10 gal...it killed my urchin..so i waited after lites out one nite and caught him,all 6"+ of him/her and it went on a long visit with the tidybowl man...

Has anyone ever called them on the phone and they actually answered?? I received my gooseneck lamp fixture but with one problem..the 3 nylon screws and 3 rubber pads that were to be with it(included) WERE NOT THERE! Have sent an email at 4pm and no answer 3hrs later..and this is the quickest way to contact them? And do they ever answer the phone? Tried 4x to contact by phone... Im irritated and seriously thinking of going to a hardware store tomorrow and fetting my own screws and pads.... Unless someone in my area(warrenton/manassas) has one theyre not using and i can bum your screws and pads...ooohhh that sounded soo bad ;p anyhoo just venting ...and wondering..

Nice refurb..cant wait to see it "fleshed"out... I like the kessils but could never afford one...

Oh my brother would like you...he likes sharks and rays...he likes the odd stuff...has a beaut blue reef lobster that was stark white when he got it because the lfs lights were brite and he had no hidey hole,tasseled filefish(loces people watching;no im not kidding..8). )

Just added a new zoa from IC..just waiting for it to open...also at mtg next week will(hopefully no snow) to pick up 2 more zoa frags and a pocci frag....and yes,i will post pics of them too..8)
