That sucks. Yeah I may have to go that route. I got a couple of quotes yesterday and they were kinda high. The only one that was decent (don't remember the name at the moment) said it is a 10-14 day turnaround.

Yeah I saw that picture. I don't have enough left of the trim for the area I want to put the brace, so I will be putting it glass to glass right under the plastic framing.

Anyone here on the forums have a hookup for 1/2 glass? When hanging my lights they dropped and broke both of the ABS Plastic braces on my glass 150G and now am going to have to do a eurobrace style setup with glass. I am planning on 2X 3 inch wide 17 inch long strips. since there was 2 braces to begin with and it will allow me to minimize the shading with a the lights I have now.

I had the same happen on my atman pump on my Bubble Magus skimmer...been running fine and it is still quiet thus far.

Take a look at animal jungle in va beach. They are pretty good. Atlantic sea farms is relatively close to animal jungle, but has very select hours. You also have fish safari, but I dont know much about them. Get an account on hhrc (hampton roads reef club) for more info. GL!

So far I did 50% water change and turned out the lights. I put and old hob marineland filter on with some filter floss to help clean it up and threw a bag of chemo pure in it too. Probably turn on the lights tomorrow and prep for another big water change. I will have to look that one up Tom.

Yeah that works for me as I don't want to wake up to things dead in my tank and or a broken tank for that matter. But then again I do have a spare 10G tank. HMM.

Okay so I bought a zoa/yellow polyp rock from (before I get the looks) PETCO and got home and acclimated it. Checked as well as I could and for bugs/pest and in she goes. The wife happened to see something move in the rock. Low and behold it has a small mantis shrimp. I took it out for further examination as I know some people like these some don't. It is definitely not a spear and is a smasher. What to do with this little guy?
