  1. I know they're not a local sponsor, but BRS sells it.
  2. Need something to do this weekend? Well come on up to Lancaster PA and visit us at the NCPARS and That Fish Place Fall Frag Event! Your favorite coral vendor, Exotic Reef Creations will be participating at the swap, and boy will it be a good one! This is a huge swap, that's going to be filled with hot corals, and plenty of great people. There will be fragging demos as well. Lancaster is only 2 hours from downtown Washington, DC, so who's making the drive with us?!?!?!?! That Fish Place 237 Centerville Rd Lancaster, PA, 17603 Saturday, October 5th 11am-5pm $10 admission
  3. Yeah, but wasn't that thing listed for like $300? lol
  4. Rinsing Roggers defeats the purpose of what makes their food great. You'd be getting rid of all the good stuff.
  5. Will do! My fish and corals have never been happier. It's amazing how much my prized zoas love this stuff. I sent an email to Roggers just now, I'm curious as to how they'll respond.
  6. I'm going to email Roggers directly and see if they have any ideas.
  7. I have not, I need to stop by your place or Alan's tomorrow.
  8. Just because you bought it for me at the same time as you bought yours, it doesn't mean it was definitely the same batch. But anyways, if it's not a bad batch then what could it be? It's really f'ing frustrating.
  9. Ok, so this is weird. I'm really thinking now that I got a bad batch of food. So today I picked up a used SWC 120 skimmer and set it up on my frag tank. It was doing well from the get go, producing skimmate within an hour. Tonight, I went and fed the Roggers again to both tanks and low and behold, the SWC went crazy and overflowed within 10 minutes. WHY IS THIS FOOD MAKING 4 DIFFERENT SKIMMERS GO CRAZY?!?!?!?!
  10. Those were some quick dslr pics without a macro lens. I'm going to take some more pics tomorrow with it.
  11. Here's my first attempt at taking some pics of some of my zoa collection with the new Look Down I bought from the Avast booty buy!
  12. So, for the past two days my frag tank skimmer has not overflowed. I'm wondering if it was a fluke that one time the frag tank skimmer overflowed. The display skimmer is still having the issue, but that skimmer is SUPER dirty, and hasn't been cleaned thoroughly in like 9 months. I'm going to take it apart and give it a good cleaning, then see if I still have the issue. I'm wondering if the fact that it's so dirty is making it extra sensitive. I'll report back after I get it done and feed again.
  13. Man, once again Richard didn't disappoint with his hand picking skills. Stop wasting your money on boring corals that are sent to other vendors sight unseen. Richard does not drive 12 hours round trip every week to bring back B grade coral. Come on out this weekend and check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed. Richards in his "let's make a deal" mood, don't miss your opportunity.
  14. Is that all you guys got? The tanks at the shop are filled with the hottest corals available and with our ridiculous pricing, $75 will go a long way. We want to hit 300 likes by the end of the weekend, let's make it happen!
  15. Man, I stopped by and saw the progress today and boy oh boy, this thing is looking SWEET! Pics do it no justice. The rock work is absolutely amazing. Good job bro.
  16. +1 Tropical Lagoon is your best bet. Pretty expensive pricing on coral but their fish pricing is the best I've seen ANYWHERE.
  17. No, I was joking. I do not think you would have done any of that! You did give it to me free of charge though, so that IS a little suspicious Awesome. I will respond to your PM and see when I can get over there. Hopefully your skimmer goes nuts too, then I can just get a different batch and all should be well!
  18. I think you sold me some counterfeit Roggers food. Did you fill the bag with Jans and keep the Roggers for yourself? Lol jk You had suggested my skimmer was sensitive before but this has never happened before with other food, and it happened with both of my tanks/skimmers, so it makes me think it's not my skimmer. Anyone local to me want to experiment and let me feed your tank once to see what happens with your skimmer? I want to be able to use this food because it seems my livestock love it. But if I have to adjust my skimmer every time I feed, it's not going to be worth it.
  19. Is there any reason that defrosting, re-mixing the food, then freezing again would be a bad idea?
  20. My version was the meat blend.
  21. Wow, I guess it's just me. Before trying Roggers, I did feed Rods food without those results. Now one thing did happen that might be the cause.... I had the food picked up for me because nobody sells it near me, and it was dropped off to me at the Jebao pick up. By the time I got home, it had partially melted, and when I refroze it, it had sort of separated and there was a white-ish substance. It kind of looked like bacon fat. I'm wondering if what I've been feeding has been a highly concentrated portion of the food like the garlic. Maybe I could thaw it and try refreezing it evenly? Now I did use a cutting board and knife to chop it into pieces before putting it in a Tupperware for ease of use but I really don't think either item was contaminated.
  22. freshfins, I see you're following this thread. Have you experienced the same issue?
