The Outlet Waterchange line can be ignored. I have a virtual outlet programmed on his setup so when he needs to do a manual water change, he only has to hit 1 outlet off to turn off his return/skimmer/stenner, etc.

I run an S1502. What specifically are you looking for info-wise? I've had great results with mine for the last year to 1.5 years so far. I followed the guide on starting mine from MarineDepot.

I had a hard time finding egg crate at Lowes. I ended up finding it in the work lighting / ceiling tile section. They called it a light diffuser panel. Hope that helps.

I use these exact ones. Not a ton of storage space in them, but they work perfectly.

I swear by my Apex. Couple things I have set up besides the standard stuff: - Used magnetic switches on my panel doors so the light in my stand turns on when a door is open and turns off when closed - The Apex emails me when my topoff container is empty (float switches in the topoff reservoir to monitor level) - The Apex emails me when my skimmate locker is full (Avast large locker with bare wire to breakout box) and will shut off both skimmer pumps until the locker pressure sensor is emptied and has a 10 minute defer so it doesn't go nuts when the sensor resets. I also have the native alarm turned on when the skimmate locker is full, so if I am home, I can hear it as well. - Created a virtual outlet for when I want to do a water change I just have to hit one button on the Fusion dashboard and it turns off my 2 skimmer pumps (main and recirculating), turns off my 3 MP40s, turns off my return pump, turns off the ozone, GFO, and carbon pumps, and switches my AI Hydra lights to 100% white so I can see what I'm doing. - Created a virtual outlet for at nighttime when I want to look at the tank I just toggle the outlet and it turns only the reds on my Hydras and lowers the MP40s to 10%. - Created a virtual outlet for before a water change my return pump turns off and the Vortechs are all turned to 100% power for 10 minutes to stir up any major detritus so I can suck it out. - Custom email alerts if temp/pH/ORP/excessive Amps draw on 2nd EB8 go out of whack or if power fails on the circuit. (Router and main EB8 are on a backup battery for this reason) - Turn my Avast swabbie on 1x an hour for 2 minutes to keep my skimmer neck clean - Automate my dry food feeding using the AFS feeder while I am at work. It logs each time it goes off, so I can see if it metered out food that day. Future plans: - Monitor for power outage and if so have it kick an air pump with stone to fallback ON that is on the EB8 that's on my battery backup. I currently have my heated/aerated RODI water in a 55g barrel in my hallway bathroom and it is plumbed to a valve box behind my tank with a remote pump, and a drain line that goes from behind the tank to the other side of my driveway. I plan on making a saltwater storage tank behind the tank so I can automate my water changes using the DOS doser by Neptune. This way all I have to do to do a water change is add salt to the mixing barrel and control the recirc pump with an outlet, and let the DOS put new water in/take old water out to the drain line. I am probably forgetting something but I think that is most of it.

Same goes for configuring the Vortech pumps and AI Hydra lights as well.

Minimum of 1/2 hour apart into high flow for dosing Cal/Alk.

No worries, that's what WAMAS is for, the sharing of information :D. I don't see why a 150DD wouldn't be big enough for a blue hippo tang... I know the recommended is 180 for them, but I'd personally think you'd be fine. How big is the blue hippo you currently have?

Tank is nestled next to a half-wall so it is viewable on 3 sides, but walkable on 2. All the side panels on the stand are velcro-ed on, so they are easily removable.

Probe is about 1.5 yrs old, perhaps a bit older... Yep, definitely fully submerged. Made sure it was even after cleaning it. It is in the last chamber of my sump on the far wall away from the baffles, so I don't see any bubbles getting close to it. I will double check though when I get home. I went ahead and ordered a new probe just in case and will test that tomorrow when it arrives.

When coming home from work yesterday I noticed my pH showing 9.28... Normally I hover around 7.9-8.0 at all times so this is definitely out of the norm. A minute later, the probe read 6.32. While watching it over the next 10 minutes it was wildly swinging. Took it out and soaked it in citric acid for an hour and rinsed in RODI. Put it back in my sump and still getting the same symptom. Does this look like my probe is going bad?

+1. Can totally vouch for ERC. Rich got my Marineland 150 starphire cube ordered for me and even hand delivered it to my house for a banging good price.

I change my DI resin maybe every 6 months, and my incoming tap water is 390 TDS, outputs at 4 from the membrane, and 0 out of my DI canister. I'm on a well in a very heavy limestone/shale area so my well water is crap... There's no reason that RODI system should burn through THAT much resin. What is your pressure coming into your RODI unit? I put a booster pump on mine and my production rate has tripled and my resin lasts longer now as well.

You are right on the dimensions 39" x 42". I wanted it to be slightly wider for the space it was going into (couldn't stick out too far in the front but could go wider), and to accommodate my sump dimensions. I had to modify the design a bit to include an extra vertical stabilizing 2x4 on each leg to prevent rotational force. Lol definitely will need to post some soon. I got the stand built/painted and in the house and the tank arrived Saturday. Richard from ERC delivered the beast to me and helped carry it in. Got to meet his pup Samson (I think that was his name) who is a sweetheart. Tank is on the stand and has water in it... Need to finish the wiring as it looks like an electric octopus on my floor right now. I have some additional rock arriving on the 15th from Marco Rocks including some shelf pieces and a column piece. Once that arrives and things are in place I will post some stuff .
