coral hind- that's actually a great idea. unfortunately i don't have room behind the tank. I was thinking about having the refugium sit in the sump if im not able to get it fixed. NAGA- i'd love to stop by let me know when you're available. I appreciate the N/C, but atleast let me bring some beer over or something even if you can't fix it. my appreciation. :o)

i was sitting watching tv, and the tank is right near me. next thing i heard a thump. ran over to the tank. i see my refugium hanging on one bracket. im not sure what happened. but all i know is my algae is coming around now after couple days not running the refugium. now i know that really helps.

can anyone on here fix cracks in acrylic? i have a cpr refugium xl model. the back of it cracked and the hook/clamp completely came off. thanks. also if you do fix let me know how much it would cost.

are you talking about the white spots? i've had snail eggs but didn't look anything like that. mine hatched well only a few did. out of like hundreds and hundreds of them.

i go to aquarium one they have great corals there. for fish i go to congressional. but i will say congressional is a lot more expensive but they run great deals sometimes. theres also a store in gaithersburg i forgot the name of it. i went once there and turned around and left.

everything im reading says its dirty water. but i've done water changes every 3 weeks and i do 15 gallons of water change. none of my other fish are having issues or any of corals. i think i know what happened. my yellow tang has been trying to hit it with it's tail.

i was just feeding my fish, i noticed my tang has a puffy eye. with cloudiness in the middle of the eye. tang is still very active and eating like a piggy. all day i haven't noticed it. ugh my favorite fish.

i used the seaclone 100 on my 75 gallon, only problem i had is in the beginning you have to calibrate this in order for it to work really well. but i like it, took out a lot of junk.

i've gotta 75 gallon and now i just bought a 125 gallon, im so glad i went pendant MH because i don't have to buy a whole new lighting system because i just add another pendant and im good to go. so right now i've got 2 pendants which are 250 watt MH and actinics bolted to the hood. also i believe on the market pendants from icecap are 300 bucks i believe. with pendants you would also need to think about how you would hang them and getting a fan small sized.

try whole foods near you, they have ro/di water. 39 cents a gallon.

First i'd like to say thanks for Valeria, I went to get the clam and fish and left with a clam and fish and a 125 gallon tank that needed to be picked up the next day. Then i'd love to say thanks to my upper level management for allowing me to stay in my condo. Then i'd love to say thanks to Moveall product and the ramp on the truck. because i just had to move the 125 gallon tank by myself up to the third floor. successfully completed. now i just need to pick up the stand and the hood. Ok time to rest.

I haven't observed it at night. Is there something i should be looking for in particular? I'll definitely check it out tonight.

i don't know the difference in an unhealthy war coral and a healthy war coral. Because i haven't seen any that comes close to looking like the one in the picture. it's spreading fairly quick. I first saw it about a month ago and it was the size of about 2 or 3 quarters.

rocks came from different private sellers. Little bit of rock was bought from the store.

the burgundy color with white dots, i just noticed it growing on my rock.
