I just read all the posts, very interesting. It is true that was not a real study. But one must make note of the fact that this could be possible. On another hand, how many people out there think that hmmm maybe i just did something wrong in breeding and not think that it might be the trash can.

If it was me, i'd keep the boxfish by itself in the tank. It has a chance of killing other fish and picking at corals. I've looked into getting a boxfish, never did, because of those reasons.

Ok, so today i bought salifert testing kits. I just tried to test my calcium, and at the end i couldn't figure out what my levels were. But wanted to know what you guys use for testing.

since i can't find the water container that i really want, im thinking of buying a 45 gallon trash can from home depot for water storage. Before i do, i had a question. Does the container need to be food container approved? if so can i buy a plastic liner to put inside the trash can? thanks

I live in a condo and i have a RO/DI system. I just bought a faucet adaptor and hook it up whenever i need water. I am looking for a water storage container that would make life easier.

ok i have the same system accept it's a 75 gpd. just so i understand. you take out your di and water will flow through?

what type of ro/di system you have?

do you have a flush adaptor on the unit? I know when my adaptor or knob is switched to flush, i don't produce any water, it just goes all to the waste line.

yes, and i thought that too. But i also thought that on top of the fish being really cold and stressed. I just didn't want the lights to all of a sudden come on, on top of everything else and have that chance of stressing them out some more. It was just my thinking. Also, i was thinking along the lines of one thing at a time.
