  1. First stab and placing the rock. Still have a couple small flats left over. Not sure I like it yet. I'll more than likely take it all out and try again tomorrow. Aquascaping is always such a painful process for me!
  2. Those shots are fantastic - thanks for putting them up.
  3. I soaked it in fresh water for a couple weeks. We'll see how it goes - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the best but preparing for the worst.
  4. There's some of the marco rocks visible in that picture. And color doesn't really matter - in six months you won't be able to tell one from the next as it all darkens and eventually gets covered in coraline.
  5. Did your 6105's come with three jumpers or one? I have two, one of them came with just one jumper, one came with all three. Scape looks nice too. Can't wait to see it all loaded up!
  6. Yeah. Their cheap reef saver stuff. Also have 20 pounds of flats from marcorock. It'll get mixed in with some of the current rock I have - a mixture of figi rock from Rozens from the late 90's and some Florida reef rock of the same vintage.
  7. This will eventually be a reef.
  8. I was thinking Toxic Smurf in a Blender but didn't think that'd fly! Here's your smurfberry http://smurfs.wikia.com/wiki/Smurfberry
  9. ERC Toxic Smurfberry
  10. Thanks to Tom, the tank is now in it's final resting place! thanks a lot Tom !!
  11. but Eric, we're like brothers!! I have everything in place to make a pretty easy move. Just need to lift the tank on the stand and move the stand into it's final position. I *think* it should be fairly easy at this point. Tom - going to call you in a few minutes!
  12. I seem to recall reading that clowns can live for about 30 years or so!
  13. I'm in Springfield, kings park neighborhood that is basically at the intersection of Braddock Road and Rolling Road. If not this weekend, I'll shoot for next.
  14. Lol!
  15. It'll be for sale once I get it cleaned up. Unfortunatley, I can't keep but just one system going here
  16. LOL not yet Steve. Still need to get that 200 down into the house! And finish cleaning up the mess I made by tearing down the 93 lol
  17. I could use a hand moving my tank from a trailer to it's stand in my house. Depending on how much I get done tonight and tomorrow morning, I may need a hand getting my old 93 gallon cube out of the way and placing the stand for the 200 in it's new home as well. All this stuff is very close together so I'm talking about moving stuff just a few feet. Right now the tank is in my trailer in my driveway. I'm going to try to wheel that around to the back yard so it'll only have to go through a sliding glass door and onto the stand 5 or 8 feet away. When I got the tank, two people could handle the tank with those suction cup things. Not sure if I'll be able to get some suction cups yet, should be able to though. Anyway, maybe around two oclock on sunday afternoon? If anyone can make it, I can pay you with some domes! Time isn't set in stone, just tossing something out there. Thanks for looking
  18. Well, here is the final photo for my cube... And here's where all my fish, coral, snails, crabs and shrimp are currently hanging out. By 200 DD can't get setup quick enough
  19. What Steve said is why I asked. But I guess the flip side to that coin is having a backup system if one goes down hill. Let me know if you want a hand with whatever way you decide.
  20. I don't know about your question but... can you just plumb it into your main system?
  21. But the purpose of the locker is to have a cool looking container to hold the fish poop. That and the ability to have the skimmer shut off with the autoshutoff feature in case the skimmer decides to puke all over the place. That alone could be worth a gallon jug of skimmate!
  22. Sure thing! Unless I can't make it for some strange reason, I will not make you do it by yourself
  23. I think I'm going to have to find another mold now. Did you make a snowman for wintertime too?
  24. Those crabs are just cool. My dad got a colony from brk a year or two ago and the little crab is still going strong.
