Just to update everyone, it has settled and the micro bubbles have stopped. Not sure why it happened, but thanks for all the answers.

I have tried with it open and closed and all between.

Thank You! Can’t believe all the micro bubbles coming out of that area. Just upgraded tanks and the new sump is clear, guess I just never noticed. Or maybe because this tank is just starting. ??‍♂️

Can any NYOS skimmer owners answer this? is there supposed to be a grommet around the cord where it exits the skimmer body/base? Did I somehow loose this? Micro bubbles are just coming out of there like crazy!

Update: I figured something on my old laptop was blocking either java or flash. I carried my 27” iMac up to the aquarium, was able to program the light! So it never was ecotech’s fault. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.

Yeah. I just updated Chrome and that is when it stopped even recognizing the light. I un-installed connection manager, re installed it, deleted my EcoSmart account, set up a new one. Nothing! Then the light came on at 3am! It’s running the program in the wrong time zone, but I can’t change it!

I think some virus software is blocking it! Or flash isn’t working on Chrome. I can’t figure it out! Will have to wait until Monday when I can call them!

So I water damaged my Gen3 XR15. EcoTech gave me a good deal on a new Gen4. Came today. I logged in to ecosmartlive and removed the gen3. Plugged in the new one. Everything seemed fine, then noticed the light wasn’t on. Every time I try to program it it either says I’m offline or a message pops up and says an unexpected issue occurred. It is really glitchy. Don’t know if it is me or their site and of course it’s the weekend so no support. No Reeflink yet, just USB. Anyone have any ideas before I throw this expensive crap out the window and put a MH light on it!? My gen3 has no issues for about three years!

This is mine...

When you remove the canister, look underneath and make sure that there is not a rubber gasket still attached to the ro unit. Sometimes when you change the filters the rubber gasket can stick to the ro unit and if you put a new cartridge in with another gasket it can mess things up.

Check the membrane. If it is clogged the water will not reach the DI or last stage. You can disconnect the airline coming out of the membrane to the ASO and disconnect the other line going from the ASO to the DI and if you can blow air thru it it is not the issue. Lastly if you find this to work, take the membrane out and see if water gets to the last stage. If it does you need a new membrane. Hope this makes sense.
