  1. I was supposed to be going and picking up a frag pack from Graham (gws3), who is comming down from B-more. Something came up and I cant get there. Would anyone be willing to pick up my frags and hold them until Saturday night/Sunday morning? I am in Gainesville/Haymarket area.
  2. Captive bred! Plus read about how Dragonets are captured in the wild! It's a little more than a name, it's the preservation of our hobby. BRK has had a pair for at least three weeks.
  3. I have to get in on this!!
  4. Had fun meeting and hanging with you Justin! Greg (ReefeScape)
  5. The only place I have found to have all sorts of hard to find plumbing parts is a store on 28 just north of Manassas in Yorkshire, it's called Yorkshire plumbing supply I think. Worth a try or a phone call.
  6. Hey sorry I missed your response. I appreciate the offer. I am all good now.
  7. Anyone in the Gainesville/Haymarket area have any weld on I could grab today? I will replace with new.
  8. +3 on Banner Glass. They where great to deal with. I had my baffles done at the Manassas store.
  9. Quazi....That is some funny S--T!!!!
  10. I beleive the Brute Trash Cans are Food Safe. They should have a marking on them stating so. I have used Brute trash cans for years, but now I have two 35 gallon water storage tanks from Tractor Supply: http://www.tractorsupply.com/leg-style-storage-tank-35-gal--2137324
  11. You can get them at HD or Lowes or.... http://www.marinedepot.com/Insert_Y_Fittin...-FT7943-vi.html
  12. It will work...see links below for video where a coral frag farmer is using this method. I beleive it is in part two. http://www.lafishguys.com/57-%20CoralFragFramer-01.htm http://www.lafishguys.com/57-%20CoralFragFramer-02.htm Greg
  13. I beleive you are talking about running two hoses, not pvc from your return pump to the two overflow returns? If so a Y adapter can be had for that too, it's nearthe tubing at HD or Lowes. Here is a video of LA fish guy hooking up what I beleive you are talking about, except his is coming from a chiller. http://www.lafishguys.com/51-%20SetUpReefTank-02.htm
  14. +1 on Jeff (Naga). Good quality and price.
  15. I've been wondering the same thing. I have a 5ft piece of 12" Diameter PVC I need to cut to 32". I can not think of how to cut this perfectly. It needs to be clean so I can mount the PVC base on it.
  16. I asked who could build me a sump a couple weeks ago and got Jeff's (NAGA) name. I contacted him and gave him my requirements and he got back to me very quickly. He gave me a good price and knocked the work out in one day! My sump is built like a tank and I couldn't be happier with it and my experience with Jeff. Look for my build thread in a week or so, I will post pictures of the sump. A couple days after getting my sump Jeff met me in Vienna with some of his old Large Rock and I bought a few pieces from him. Again, very good experience, very personable and professional. He also has about the coolest little Sheppard Puppy! I tried to sneak him out with my sump! I would definitely recommend NAGA for any acrylic work. Greg
  17. I was hoping I didn't have to buy a chiller!! I think that my basement stays cool enough and I will have fans galore plus an AC vent in the room and the exhaust fan. I thought that a window ac would put me over the top. I see what you are saying about the heat on the outside end of the AC unit. That was basically my question, what cons would this have. I know ultimately I will get a chiller, they are just so expensive, but what isn't in this hobby?!
  18. Origami, I was planning on using a window AC. Do you know if they have a drain I can run to my, well, drain? Is it ok that the outside part of the unit is just in another room, not outside a window? Anyone have experience with this? I ordered a Humidistat and a fantech exhaust fan already.
  19. Thank you. Here is a new link with more photos: http://s600.photobucket.com/albums/tt84/ebman74/?newest=1
  20. Ok, I will add a link for photobucket. I have never done this before so bare with me..... http://s600.photobucket.com/albums/tt84/ebman74/
  21. How am I supposed to attach a photo when it says that the Max. single upload size is 4.97K? I have tried to compress them as small as my software allows and they are still too big! I never thought I'd be "that guy"!!! It says that 55.03K of 60K of attachment space is used? How is that possible, or are you only given that much per whole thread? Please help! I know you all enjoy photos...
  22. Here are a couple photos of my sump I just built. Don't laugh at my Silicone job! It is hard to get the panels of the bubble trap that are only one inch from another panel! This is a 90 gallon tank. Maybe! I am trying to attach!
  23. I ended up having Banner Glass in Manassas cut my panels and drill my bulkhead hole. I could not be happier with them. I highly recomend them. I did have to supply my whole saw bit for the whole. I believe it is 80 something mm. They have 2" and 4" bits on hand. Banner Glass 9099 Euclid Avenue Manassas, VA 20110 Branch Manager: Bernie Greil (she was very helpful including carrying the 90g tank)
  24. Check page 16 of the first post for a picture of the front open. That whole build is sweet. Plus the light rail is the same as what I ordered.
