  1. Check page 16 of the first post for a picture of the front open. That whole build is sweet. Plus the light rail is the same as what I ordered.
  2. Nice tank flowerseller! I found a way to access from the front, but still look like just moulding that I like in this link about halfway down the page: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.p...p;pagenumber=15 I also just ordered 2 of these light rails: http://www.mcmaster.com/#1223A8
  3. Hey Guy, How can I make access and keep it clean looking. I don't really want it looking like a cabnet, that's why I'm putting it in the wall. Send pictures of that Orca already!!LOL!! Let me know when I can get it from you. I want to see your 120 also. I hope I am giving all your old stuff a good home!
  4. My aquarium is glass. I love the look of a finished wall on the outside, but with all the closed loop plumbing and overflow plumbing and return plumbing in the back it may be a little hard to work from back there. I figure I can always do like you Dave and cut the access later if I find it too difficult to access from the back. Thanks for all the replys. I will have a build thread when I get far ennough to keep everyone's attention with pretty pictures!
  5. Thank you for the recommendations. The drain can either go to the hot water heater drain like you mentioned or to a sink drain in my ruffed in bathroom. I am not sure where the water heater drain goes, that is a good point. I all ready have a hard enough time keeping my grass growing! I am sure the sink drain goes to the city/county water. I thought about the QT tank thing and am going to get a 20 gal in addition. I figured that I could also use one for fish and another for corals, just in case I ever need to treat the fish with copper. I may have the contractors put a counter with cabinets where the 55 QT is in the picture. I ultimately want a large wash sink installed, however I'm not sure how much room I have for it. The room AC is just an idea. I am definitely installing a large exhaust fan with a Humistat (spl?) I am planning on using a few fans for the light rack and at least one over the sump return blowing down. Also not shown in the picture is a rail system for the light rack to move it out of the way. One question for anyone who has an in-wall: Did you leave access from the front? I was planning to do everything from the fish room because I like the clean look from the front. If anyone has done this and regrets it let me know before work starts! Rocko, I will PM you about checking your system out. I am off next weekend while they are working on my room. Thanks again everyone.
  6. I believe I contacted you awhile back about comming over and checking yours out. If the offer is still open I would love to. I am not far.

  8. I was in today and had a box with about $300 worth of stuff and planned to use my American Express. Was told the card reader is not taking AMX now. I had to leave with a small part of my order I could afford. Just a heads up to bring other ,means of payment. Store looks great by the way and they had everything I needed, just have to go back when I have cash!
  9. I'm moving to the Netherlands and opening a Open Fireplace buisness!
  10. One more question for you guys... What size hole do I need them to cut for a 2" bulkhead? It is for a Reeflo Dart to be used as return. Thanks again!
  11. Thank you all. I am making a sump. The inside measures 17.5 wide so I should get it cut 1/8" shorter to leave room for silicone? Should I get tempered or non-tempered or does it mater? I guess having them sand instead of polish will save money? If they don't round the bottom corners cant I just cut a grove in the silicone that is in the tank and fill it back in once the panel is in place? Thanks again!
  12. Thanks, I'll give them a call. The tank is 48"X18"X24". What width should I get the baffles cut to allow room for silicone? Would 1/4" thickness be good? Should I get the edges polished? Thanks again!
  13. I need glass baffles cut for my 90 gallon sump tank. Does anyone have any experience with local shops? Any recommendations? Contact info would be appreciated. Thanks!
