  3. Yep. We have about 11 in stock right now so have plenty. We also have Cuprisorb in stock as well
  4. we carry and sell lots of Avast ATOs and highly recommend them. I actually use the AVAST ATO on my personal systems. As Mattiejay6 indicates, this is a new technology and folks are always looking to take their tanks and equipment to the next level. Innovative Marine has taken the ATO to that next level... one notch, slim, powerful, precise and can be used on any type of system, even with the smallest space. We're an authorized Innovative Marine Dealer so stocking this is something that we need to do, plus, it fits in perfectly with their Nuvo line of aquariums.
  5. we will see. we're getting some in next week to test and also stock on shelves. They are made for nano tanks and large tanks alike. They are supposed to be more accurate and precise than the Tunze osmolators.
  6. get the DC-6000 or wait for the DC-12000 to come out. Quite, controllable and a lot less energy. They can be run internal or external as well. Mag drives are loud, produce lots of heat, and the impellers always gets stuck. Reeflo's are nice, but they are very bulky so you'll need lots of room outside your sump to hook one up.
  7. Here is a list of what we have in stock. List below is just at first glance. There are also other inverts and our ORA Designer clowns and livestock that we have that I didn't add to the list. Of course, not one the list are the hundreds of corals frags and colonies that we have in our 500+ gallon coral system. We will be stocking the BlueGlow Frag Racks and rearranging our coral tanks so that we display the racks and also organize the corals for better viewing. Oh... and we will also be receiving a shipment of ORA corals in tomorrow... nice ultra maxima, deresa and squamosa clams This week's QR Spectacular Sale: Bluespot Jawfish $99.99 Hooded Fairy Wrasse Females: $99.99. 8. are you contemplating a comeback Ryan? Nuvo aquariums... hands down... they are the sleekest looking ones out there, and now that they don't make you purchase their lights as a kit, it's an even better deal. The new 24 gallon nuvo is sweet, pop a 36 inch ecoxotic marine panarama and you are set... not sure if you've had a chance to stop by the new store yet, but we have all the nuvo's set up on display so you can see what they look like. I'm sure Vince will be happy that you are getting an "itch" to return.
  9. you could always use airline tubing and tie a knot at the end to control the drip rate or put a valve at the end to do so. If you want something commercially made, we have in stock the Innovative Marine Auqa Gadget - AccuDrip in our store. works very well.
  10. we have a bunch of 1" spa flex in stock. Lengths are 4 feet and 6 feet
  11. ok. got you down for one. you can pay there... cash, credit, paypal, check... for anyone else interested, we'll try to bring extra along... but we do have to leave some inventory at the store for walk-in customers.
  12. I'll have vince bring them... he'll keep in a iced cooler so it stays frozen until the meeting is over
  13. most are difficult, but the dragonface is quite hardy from our experience... it's cool how they just slither along rocks and crevices, around the frags... we have 1-2 dragonface pipefish in each of our frag tanks at the store
  14. dragonface pipefish... they are cool, hardy and also natural predators of Acropora-eating Flatworms (AEFW) malanarus wrasse... eats flatworms, not as mean as sixline
  15. We will be ordering a pallet or more of each type of salt. Please contact us to pre-order the salt. Deadline to order at sale price will be Friday 7/19. Delivery will be on Tuesday, 7/23. Instant Ocean 200 Gallon Salt Mix Boxes: $34.99 Reef Crystals 200 Salt Mix Boxes: $44.99 All Marineland Tanks are on sale as well, including the Deep Dimension tanks with Starphire glass. Please contact us for pricing.
  16. That's a shame that you're flying out tomorrow... i'm heading back from a nice trip hand picking some sweet deep water and japanese zoas... crazy colors but they won't land until Saturday 13th.
  17. we've always had issues with those nems getting out and about and things that had small openings didn't allow enough flow to get in... yesterday, i looked over towards our dry goods shelf and a low and behold... we had these: http://www.nextreef.com/refugiums.html put them up and they work great. allows light to penetrate, strong suction cups and allows plenty of flow to get in, but best of all, prevents the nems from getting out
  18. Right on Andre. Go for the RLSS, if you can get your hands on one nowadays... they are totally out of stock everywhere but there is limited supplies arriving in the next week or two. We have both versions of the skimmer at the shop... rlss 6i and the new reef octopus diablo with the diablo dc pump. it's not even a close comparison... the 6i is only rated for 150 gallons but is doing so much more than the reef octopus which is rated for 300gallons. as nice as the reef octopus skimmers are, my only gripe about them is that when you turn off the pump or power goes out, it occasionally just spits out water and overflows all the skimmate into your tank so you have re-dial it... so you just have to watch out for that
  19. Jason when you come by this weekend, we can demo the pump and the skimmer for you. The RLSS lines are short on supply now due to the increased demand for them but we do have some already reserved to ship out when the new Gen2 DC pumps are release.... supposedly in the next week or two. They will not last long on the shelves... so pre-ordering is definitely suggested.
  20. We've got plenty of livestock to prep for this weekend. Some highlights are Blue Jaw Trigger (Male), Chevron Tangs (Juveniles), nice vibrant Purple Tang, Red Sea Yellow Belly Regal Angel, Copperband Butterflies, Desjardini Tang, Bartletts anthias, lyretails, hooded fairy wrasse pair, wyoming white clownfish pairs, maine blizzards. All are eating frozen and pellets, including the copperbands, regal angel, purple tang, chevron. You know how hard it is to come across healthy livestock that are eating frozen food so once this gets out, it won't be in our stores very long. Also, we'll have some nice sales on tank bred livestock... example... black ocellaris clownfish... $55 for a pair Now onto the pictures: And last but not least, who could resist eyes like these Have a great weekend everybody and hope to see some of you in the store.
  21. Welcome. I'm in Annandale as well. Lots of great folks here.
  22. Glad to see you made it :-). Welcome to the club and as I mentioned, this is a great club to be a part of and you'll find lots of helpful folks and advice on here. Of course, you can always ask us, but you've also got the entire WAMAS community behind you now
