did you try to manually remove the crud? I did that plus the Furan and that worked like a charm.

To your original question..... cyano isnt hard to get off of the sand or corals, you should be able to just pull it off pretty easily... How do you have your power heads setup? I was having a cyano problem and it ended up being a flow issue... moved my PHs around and it was gone (after I manually removed as much as I could)

What are you using to check your salinity?

55 would be best, but a 20 long would be ok (that's what I used - mimic tang, two clowns, 2 chromis, firefish)... the more water changes the better. a little hang on the back filter/skimmer will help....

I have no problems with MS. Everyone had been friendly and everything I have ever bought from them has been healthy... I just think that Aqua Co & BRK offer livestock that is just as good and take their service to another level....

sadly when I got home, the mimic had died.... I really wish I knew what was going on. All other fish look fine and are eating and acting normal...

Things are not looking good.. This morning the tang did not look well at all. He had some browner spots, looked bony almost like he has been fed in a month (I probably over feed) and was just sitting/swimming on the sand. He didn't eat at all... any ideas? what can I do?
