Ebay special:) I ran a group buy for them when I needed a new one, he was very friendly and welcomed the group buy. I don't care where the refracotmeter comes from, BUT I highly recomend using one the fish stores that sell the hydrometers test them against a refractometers.

I took a bucket cut 3 holes in the bottem lined with NONMETAL screen and ran a hose after I got it clean I rinsed with di/ro water.

Thanks for all the info I've never had anything like this. The internet says its very hard to starve this particular macro of nutrients. I just want it gone. So far its been fairly easy to kill.... the weird thing is it out competes the hair algee does anyone know which is worse for the tank?

Ok I don't have a whole lot of it I put some magnesium in a syringe and squirt it on the roots of the bryopis. I've also been pulling it so far so good. I don't want this tank to end up like the last one:(

Do you have hermits? Make sure you put in extra snail shells(acceptable) so they don't eat all your snails. I used to keep hermit free tanks, but I was sent some on accident and didn't want to through them in the streat so I have 10 hermits in my tank. I find that trochus get too big for my 46g I keep speciality snials as well such as cowries and fighting conches!

I don't think its a parisite, my clowns got the same or simlar thing "not as dark" from nesting in a hammer coral I was so freaked out.

YES it is bryopsis I had to check I had one strand come in I've started with magensium....and manuel pulling its not terrible at the moment.

Hair algee? No its more of a macro then a hair algee. Its like cheato but has little feathers on the end it pulls rather easily!

Ok so its not feather culerapa I don't know what it is? Its feathery but not nearly as thick or as stout!

I wish I had something that would eat it:) small tanks have thier diffuculties!

As many of you know I had a problem with grape culerapa in my nano... I have a new breed of feather culerpa(Need proper id) I need to get a picture of this stuff. Its not nearly as invasive as the grape culerapa but its still making me nuts! Its like little feathers... I have cheato in my fuge I noticed a little bit of culerapa pulled it out. I also have some dragons breath I'm going to leave it be. I've also got some slimy stuff thats attacking the feather culerpa, but leaving the corals alone? I've been doing regular water changes and running boyds chemi pure. Going to do one tomorow and pull the feathery stuff:)

I thought I'd give my fair opinion of mr coral.... Mr coral wasn't there his sales guy was there! Very nice good at explaining stuff good husbandry advice GREAT prices. I've ordered several times all items are as pictured and no random hitchhikers. He had a computer setup so you could match online to instore to see what was already sold. I understood this and was explained how stuff worked at the door... so they don't sell me something that someone online has already bought. You could shop online in store! Also I recomended that he ship inverts. I will be back. I've taken several pictures of the stuff I got all looks very good. Thank you mr coral

I want to spread wamas as far as it will go:) Any ideas? I write letters and tell people I meet, but there has got to be something more I can do any ideas. I also would like to volunteer to do some stuff, my job is a real pain, but I'm children safe(background checked) and good with teaching.

I hate to do this, but if you really want to catch her you can suprise her with light and she will be temperaly dazed.... Thats how I caught the unwanted clown in my tank!

I use a cpr on my 46g works very well, but you need to have something to keep the algee in the filter or it will flow over the return.

SO I fed my fish today and relized I have way too many fish. 46g cardal purple firefish 2 black white clowns a spoted mandrin dragonette and a sixline wrasse. I know the cardinal and the firefish like to be in groups but I bought them singly out of other peoples tanks or as a package deal from a mr coral. I love my tank, but sometimes I get tank envy like the starphire tanks they are really nice, custom leds....oh well.... I need to learn to say "NO" to good deals. Happy reefing.
