Khalid, If you don't mind posting a picture of your setup I would like to see how you did it. I am thinking about putting up a 29gl long frag tank which is sitting in my basement. I have pretty much all the equipment that I need (I think) 175w MH pendant, powerhead, etc. I am actually trying to plumb it with my 75gl sump and trying to figure out the best way to do it.

it shows the skillz and tripod is a must for crispy clear shots..i've been thinking about getting a tripod but they are too darn expensive.. :( one of these days..too many hobbies and not enought $$$..

You would be better off buying a retro IceCap kit then ebay fixture. Also check on RC there are always guys selling ballasts, endcaps etc for good price. but yea you should become member so you can see the For Sale section and the deals

Looks great. I had to use bleach to get rid of mine..rocks cured in no time once mixed with LS and few LR pieces. I tried scurbbing etc which didn't work.

I thought about using HID kist from the car which comes in few different kelvins these days 3000K-all the way 20K.. I would have used 8K though..it won't be a bad idea if you have some spare time and few parts to play around and see how it turns out. I actually upgraded the D2S bulb (HID) to 8000K's in my bmw, wife's MZ3 and my GSXR.

I bought mine from HD, just look for plant grow light or somthing. I think I pad under $10. Sid

Thanks all, I know copperbands are very sensitive and hard to keep fish when they are first introduced into a new system. Maybe down the road I'll get one again.

Yea he was jumping on mysis shrimps as he was hungry for weeks..

I came home last night and found my copperband dead. All the other fish seems fine, no sign of illness or anything. He was eating and swiming around actively night before. Don't know what happened :(.. He's at the weird spot where I can't even get to him to take him out of the tank now. He was one of my favriote fish and looked really healthy pick on pods etc in the tank and got along w/other fish very well. I had him in the tank for about 6-7 months and he was about 4"+
