do you have the 20K? I wanna see the difference 20k vs 15K. My T-5's are pure actinic and actinic plus which adds more bluish/purplish look.

new video with 20k radiums 2x250w and 2 t5 39w the video seems little dimmed bc of the phone camera. In person it's much brighter. Let me know what you think. With T-5 setup with MH and T-5

I should update my post w/video... I had to put mj1200 w/mod kit on other end after 3 weeks or so.. I was getting some dead spots where green hair algea started growing.. but still MP40 is really powerful that I have it turned down a bit. I have a new video that I need to upload..I'll do that when i get home.

I have MP40 and it's running on lagoon mode and really like it.

I recently added a frag tank to my system as well, I am using 175w pendant with 12K which is hanging about 12" above the water level. I have PC 4" fan blowing the hot air out but at same time I have chiller in my system as well. One of the member drilled my tank (1") for plumbing and I have one MJ1200 for flow. I might take MJ1200 out and put HK2 b/c MJ has too much flow. I created 2 layer rack with egg crate so I can move my sps's on the top layer and softies on the bottom. I am using Mag36 as my return which also feeds my chiller and frag tank. I am planning to switch the MH bulb to 15000K since my tank is only 15" high

Thanks guys I really like it I wish I would have bought it earlier. I think it's bit expensive but worth the price IMHO. I also noticed that my corals are more attracted towards this pump especially my RBTA tenticles are turned towards pump direction which is on the other end of the tank. I don't know if I should add a MP20 on other side for somewhat even flow in lowe speed. What do you guys think?

Yup just one MP40, and you might see a HK 2 between the OF but that was turned off. This is also set to 80% speed not 100%.

Hello all, I just got my Vortech MP40W last week and installed it on one side of the half circle 144gl tank. I made quick video with my iphone to share w/you guys. The water movement is pretty good and my fish and corals love it so far. I've set it to run on Lagoon mode during the day and at night it goes into night mode. P.S this if my first video w/iPhone and I turned the camera side ways towards the middle to get wide shot but didn't realize that the video will turn w/it also.

Wish you lived closer I would be interested in blue tang and coral beauty and angle

Brian I think you might be right becuase GSA8 uses Eheim 1262 pump which has 1" intake and 3/4" out, but both of the uniseals looks to be same size on the skimmer body and I have to change both.

You are right there is a union connection between the pump and the part that goes into the skimmer body uses uniseal which is leaking. The link you posted is exactlly what I have. I am not sure of the size though? 3/4 or 1" ??

I've emailed him already and haven't heard from him yet.

Ok I'll have to try that when I get home. What's the best way to pull them out? should I use any tool??

You might be right about the proper name. I'll have to call BRK and find out if they have any in stock. Thanks

Hi, My skimmer is leaking from the rubber seals where the pump's intake and outlets are. I've tried to push it in more and turned it which didn't help. Where can I get these rubber seals is there another option to fix this small leak? Thanks Sid
