I been a huge fan of this fish as I've mentioned and have had great success with Vividaquarium over the years except ONE time I got an A. By mistake and WHILE, this pig went after everything in my tank for the 1/2 day he was in their until my former BULLY Blue Velvet Damsel (Another fish that should be BANNED from Reeftanks) beat him to death by the next day!! Needless to say it was a mixed blessing!! Myself the easiest and only way I've been able to tell has been by stripe coming to the point. I'm batting a 100% this way, because if you don't have the 2 side by side, you can't have any reference to go by for the snout and breast, IMO. Talking to LFS in the past, a lot of them mentioned that when they purchase fish, they don't have my choice in EXACT sub-species but if BRK can guarantee it, this would be awesome!!

For a 180g, IMO, I would get a Single CB and 2-3 B/W H. D. As far as the Feather Dusters, I WISH mine would eat them, but I've never seen one do it before, maybe pick at it as a reaction but nothing to worry about! ....RELEASE: The comment made above are of the speaker and make NO suggestions that he knows 100% about everything! Dang, sorry to hear about your loss! After my move last week, I was shocked by a MAG pump that was putting out stray electricity too! ANY time you believe you have an Electrical Issue, immediately get it out of your system and either fix or replace! As you unfortunately found out, electricity if UNFORGIVING! IMO, I would remove the sand and replace with new, being your starting over, I would also give your rocks a quick spraying with a hose and scrub off the old dead corals off the rocks. You'll have plenty of time during the cycling to get re-established but would help getting through this quicker! My reason, is with a massive die off, your basically sitting on Ammonia Bomb and is stead of taking weeks to cycle through, take out the old now to expedite the cycle. Again, sorry for your loss, but don't give up! You got a chance for a new beginning!

As the Unofficial Expert of this species, I'm on my 4th one and is my #1 FAVORITE Fish When I get my future 300-500g in wall I already have plans of a whole school of them! I've raised them successfully in 30-90g tanppks, always the best of manners. Will tollerate a tank bully, but zero aggression to fish, corals or inverts. I'm sure there are exception but I would bet they had an Acumentas!! IMHO, I've tried all LFS with no luck getting a 100% supplier of them, even though I've beg them never to carry the .A. :wink: VividAquarium.com has been the best for stock and price BUT as officer I would love in THIS POST if our LFS can say they can get 100%. CONFIRMED, PLZ POST! MOST of times ID is simple, if the White Stripe touches at the point you have the B/W H. D. Goes just tad over a 1/16" above the point, you have the A. I have to get off my Blackberry now, I JUST WRECK MY TRUCK!!!

So far when I've had time to watch, the B/W Hen. has been getting along "ok" with them, the Powder Blue who runs the roost is the most active! But they all stay out of his way. He has found the new layout it seems to his liking. Has been doing laps behind the rocks in circles on the back wall clockwise! ..funny thing is the B/W some times joins him and then turns around to go the opposite way and WATCH OUT! ...almost a few crashes on the bends! Your Maroons will OWN your tank one day! :wink: Tomatoes have a bit of attitude too! I've seen wrasses dart down, grab a snail shell, shake it and down the host in less than a second! VERY QUICK! ...come to think about it, time to order some more snails!!!
