#2. purchased from BRK battery back up system = $359

The question is when the power has gone out, your aquacontroller won't be able to send out notification email; therefore, there is a chance you might miss this outage event for a few hours until later coming home from work to startup the generator.

It's a dream........! Everybody's dream.....! Except for fishwife's hubby.

KLEE has been taken care of and your Aussie will be shipped Monday. Waited on his paycheck to clear Super Aussie on the way. Please post a nice Pic!! =========== Received my Aussie Snow Cap colony today. All polyps are already openned wide as of tonight. Very beautiful red color, just like the online pix shown. The wait has been long to rectify the mishap; however, now receiving this beautiful colony has made me a come back customer. Sonny also gave a free colony of red zoanthids, not sure what the official name for it; however, they have small polyps just like Rik's blue tubs with super red all around. Very beautiful freebie. I can't complain after the first purchase delivered. Both bags were packed with 5 layers of nylon bags, well insulated box. My confidence is back with Sonny and his online store. Will purchase from online again. No issue from me anymore. KLee

Not sure; however, I've been running 24/7 Phosban reactor with carbon and phosphate remover. I change about once a month and the water looks very clear, everytime a new media is replaced. Other than that, my majestic angel + blue tang look good to me. I do feed them lots of Nori every other day. KLee

Jason, There are plenty of Nuclear Green online and they look just exactly..... like those pixes. So, if anyone has been looking for Nuclear Green, try to come and get it while Johnny still has the good price on them. KLee

I came to purchase my power battery backup system today. Saw a couple frag of beautiful Nuclear Green. Each polyp is super super green. Some large polyps, some are still babies and the best is only $25/polyp. Can't beat that price even comparing to online.

This is true. However, a good merchant is always a good merchant with credibility, reliability. You decide to go in a business and open a mean for your customer to come in. If one of your mean is open online, have to follow-up with your words and good practice. Just a thought. KLee

James, Go to Fins and Feathers or BRK and ask the owner the same question. If you see it once, you'll know the difference right away the next time. Right now Fins and Feathers does not have any paly for sale, so try BRK. Easiest way is the polyp of the zoanthid is smaller than the Paly's. That's the regular case.

Rik, You're killing me! You keep finding new stuffs in our hobby and you know we have the same rule around the house: "You can't talk about money in my house, OK" Our madness has to be under controlled........ Need to stop reading your thread, although, the quickest/shortcut learning curve is learn from the experienced people. Arg! Catch 22.

He/she would outbid you even if you increase the bidding $. Check his feedback for recent coral/zoos purchases. All in rare type and price didn't seem to matter to him/her that much. For this type of Chalice, if the color is true to its picture, this person would go after until he/she has it. I wouldn't feel bad if I were you.

The person who won it is from Reistertown, MD.

James, Never ask. Just do it and take on the battle. Just kidding! As they said: Your balls shrunk after you got married! KLee

With Copperband, you might try with live brine shrimp (can get it from Super Petz in Annandale) and live black worm and slowly introduce it to formula 1 over time. Could be month (in slowly meant) before he will switch over to frozen food.

Live in Virginia. Ironman: to remind myself and start getting back into Triathlon now that daughter is 5 years old. The icon is for my daughter Emily, after she saw the "Finding Nemo" movie and would like to have a pair of her own. Emily gave me the motivation to get back into saltwater fish and reef after 12+ years off.

Sonny, I personally feel good that you now are trying to rectify previous mishap situation. I look forward to seeing the first purchase from you and soon your new retail store. KLee

For me he does. His website had a hickup a while back and he owes me $140 in credit. I emailed him several time since June, still keeping all old emails for record and he always (intended/unintended) ignored the Aussie Acan I request for some reasons with replies such as: the Acan has been sold; however, it is still posted on his website or be taken off for a few weeks and then post them back on. Then I choose another type of LPS such as Blasto*, same things, same replies. It's now October and Sonny keeps sending me advertisement with 25% and never followup with my $140 in credit. I don't want to click on buy it now and never see my $140 refund just to get a new colony I like to purchase. In my book, MrCoral fails his customer service. BRK, Fins and Feather have never failed with such basic thing. KLee

Very nice, Bob! KLee

Agree with Carr and Johnybv. My backyard is now has a semi yellow spot where I used to dump saltwater change. I now dump the exchanged saltwater where it goes to public sewage system.

Bemmer's Total System Sale - Everything is Being Sold
vaironman replied to a topic in General Discussion
Umm, certainly a surprise. Bemmer's tank is awsome and lots of efforts have been put in by her and her husband. Come back soon Rebecca. -
Piggy back on this topic, 1) Can I do with an old 10+ years old AGA 150G tank? 2) drill it with tank stands vertically. The tank is currently in use with full of reef and fishes, I am thinking of lower the water level and apply Nadir's technique w/o having to break down the tank and laying it horizontal to drill. I keep having to suck the air out of the U tube for the overflow every two weeks and only drilling holes will fix this issue 100%. Thanks for everyone inputs on this one.

Best way to get rid of micro bubbles ?
vaironman replied to Nitro Junkie's topic in General Discussion
Clean it out once a month when you're doing your water change (hopefully, you're doing more than once a month water change) with the water is being dumped out. The other benefit of adding the sponge in between two chambers will be a place for the good bacteria to grab on and do its water filter/cleaning function for us. -

btw, I have an unused piece of foam that you can have and try it out or you can get them from BRK. LMK, I live in Sterling. -
Best way to get rid of micro bubbles ?

Nitro, Put a sponge all across the little gap between the skimmer chamber and the water return chamber and the little bubble issue should be taking care of, I think. KLee/Lee
