  1. Well, he is 6" across. Maybe 4" tall. Of course, he is my clam, and I am allowed a little inflation as we are dealing with water So, the mantle is, of course, above the floor of the tank. It is a bare bottom tank, so, the 4" is about right, and the 20" from the mantle is about right. And for the record, my 90 is 24" deep.
  2. I moved my Blue Derasa from mid tank (90 gallon tank, so it was about a foot down), to bottom tank after too many falls. I have 6 T-5s (54 watt 3-10k and 3-Actinic) in a current fixture. Is that enough light for a 6" clam @ 24"? My frogspawn are at that level, and doing wonderfully. My digitatas and Acroporas are within a foot of the top and doing wonderfully.
  3. If you add the $10.02 for shipping, Amazon is a little better. What ever, the pumps are at a great price. Steve, get one so we can get a review!
  4. $53 for 850gph or $58 for 1050 on Amazon. If they are good pumps, they are a real buy.
  5. Cars do not efficiently charge up a battery. You can buy a charger (I bought this that charges and jump starts your car: http://www.sears.com...7&blockType=G7) for less than $40. Mike
  6. Most planted tanks like low flow. A river tank, with river type plants would work great with a MP10. I have never seen a planted river tank, but I can imagine tha MP10 would work wonderfully.
  7. You have dials on your stereo? How old is it?
  8. You don't like free fish food?!?! Of course it puts back nutrients in your tank. Food does that!

  12. Buy only from F&F or BRK (I am sure there are others) that QT all the fish they get. I have had few problems with this method.
  13. Jonny is a competitor. I like it! That is the right spirit!
  14. This is timely for me. I have the tee, and the four way (two exits) on my 120 with a basement sump. It is really LOUD. I am planing on adjusting my durso with air limiters. I am afraid my drains may be too small (two 1 inch returns, I inherited them) for my Pan World 200 PS. The amount of air in the system is amazing. I think I can get 1.5 inch drains with the current setup. Certainly 1.25" drains. Do you think that would help? Anyway, I do not want to hijack this tread, I just want all the information I can get.
  15. You need one of these: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_0...rd=dehumidifier The good news is that in a couple of weeks as highs drop into the 30's, you will be thankful for the extra mosture produced by the tank.
  16. To the polka beat: You can have her, I don't want her, she's too "funky" for me! http://images.news8austin.com/media/2002/1...rolineestes.jpg
  17. Go to "my Controls (upper Right)/Board Settings (lower Left)/"your Time" Put in the correct time zone and you are good to go!
  18. Excellent comment. Not too far, and great rock and other reef stufff!
  19. HD has a similar strip. I am using a couple of these. However, check this out: Chauvet PC-08/PC-09 Power Panel http://www.usdjsupply.com/p-Chauvet-PC-08-...Panel-3279.aspx This way you get an on/off switch with the outlet. DJs like them, too! I am planning on getting one.
