AlanM January 29, 2018 January 29, 2018 If you're running ultra low nutrient, my experience is that they just don't last. I can't keep em if I have traditional SPS quality water.
AlanM January 29, 2018 January 29, 2018 For example, in my current tank I'm bare bottom, high flow, huge skimmer, actively growing fuge, running UV, carbon, floss, socks. It's a very clean system. SPS is growing, but zoas and gsp just fade away. It's like I'm trying too hard to keep the SPS happy.

gmerek2 January 31, 2018 Author January 31, 2018 Just wanted to follow up. They somehow bounced back today and were open for once! I took everyone’s advice so I don’t know which advice was key. (Or maybe all of it together worked)
