Cliff Puckstable August 5, 2016 August 5, 2016 Silly clown got his head stuck in a clam. His mate is trying to pull him out. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. Tip of the day: Don't put a clam next to a hosting nem.
Keraxis August 5, 2016 August 5, 2016 Clams can close pretty hard. Mine pinched me the other day and it kinda hurt...... teach me to try to do a quick water change. I moved it to vacuum the sand underneath.
dave w August 5, 2016 August 5, 2016 Inversely proportional? The more expensive the clown, the stupider?
AlanM August 5, 2016 August 5, 2016 Wow, I would not have expected that. I think it was Rick, the speaker at our winter WAMAS meeting, who has a horrible story about cleaning one of the big tanks, slipping, and getting his leg bitten by a huge clam. He almost lost his leg and it was incredibly painful. Also made for a weird trip to the emergency room where they were picking live snails and such out of the massive wound on his leg.

treesprite August 8, 2016 August 8, 2016 Wow, poor fishy. That's worse than an anemone in a powerhead. It is not as messy, but I think fish feel suffering more than anemones, and it was surely a horrible way for the fish to die.

treesprite August 15, 2016 August 15, 2016 You will have to post pics of the new mate for the now-single fish.
