gmerek2 December 14, 2016 Author Share December 14, 2016 I have 2 mag pumps for return. I forget what size but they do 500gph. I wanted two so if one fails I still have one working. Reef octopus NWB 250 skimmer. I don't use a sock filter. Lights 8 bulb 60" ATI T5 sun power, one reef bright and 4 ocean revive. The ATI T5 runs for 4 hours and LEDs 4 hours. I realize all the lights together are overkill but I have my reasons. The sump is a Rubbermaid 150g stock tank only filled up 12" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Coral Hind December 21, 2016 Share December 21, 2016 Nice colors on the corals. What are you using to maintain calcium and buffer levels?
gmerek2 December 21, 2016 Author Share December 21, 2016 The alkalinity is mixed in a 5g bucket. Then the BRS drip doser is placed on a timer. I slowly (over days) clicked down the 30 min timer buttons until desired alk was maintained. It's rare to make an adjustment now. If I do have to unclick or add a button it's from adjusting light intensity. Calcium is mixed in my ATO. It can slowly fluctuate due to evaporation levels. So I have to keep a closer testing eye on it. No doubt drip doser would be a better option but I'm out of room. 'Mag is replaced with water change and adjusted in ATO if necessary
