sethsolomon September 23, 2015 September 23, 2015 I am seeing more acans in your zoa garden than zoas :P
John Ford September 23, 2015 Author September 23, 2015 I am seeing more acans in your zoa garden than zoas :P I wondered when I was going to get called out on this I've added more zoas since my last update but most of them are still single polyp so a FTS would look the same, acan dominated! I think watching everything grow out is my favorite part in all this.
John Ford September 23, 2015 Author September 23, 2015 (edited) So far my zoas are: Pink Krakatoa Deja Vu Tyree Orange Rainbow Mean Green Candy Apple Orange Candy apple red Armageddon II Mandarin Orange Frozen Frog Eyes Sunny Ds Eye of suron Pacman Golden Maul Rockefeller Rasta Ring of fire Tubs blue Super saiyan Blue eye girl Hawain pe Salted agave Speckled fire and ice Green Bay packers And Mohawks I have about 12 more to add but im in the middle of nose surgerys so I have to keep my hands out of the tanks as much as possible. Scubaguy September 25, 2015 September 25, 2015 Cant wait to see the tank John! Sounds like you have another great start to a beautiful tank... Richie
Keraxis October 4, 2015 October 4, 2015 Tanks looking pretty good. Once those Zoas start to spread it will look better.
John Ford October 4, 2015 Author October 4, 2015 Tanks looking pretty good. Once those Zoas start to spread it will look better. Thanks! This time next year if all goes well it's gonna look nice. Most of these are slower growers so we will see. I added a Yellowhead Jawfish yesterday. I'll probably add either a wrasse or mandarin down the road and that will be it for fish. I'm also still debating on either bio pellets or macro algae in the sump. I don't have a large area for macro so I'm not sure it really helps with nutrient removal, the only benefit would be the reverse light cycle (I think)
John Ford October 5, 2015 Author October 5, 2015 Thanks Laura! Looks awesome. Cant wait to see it grow out.

YHSublime October 5, 2015 October 5, 2015 Your photo skillz are getting there Glad you restarted yet?
John Ford October 5, 2015 Author October 5, 2015 For every 50 pictures I take... I hated shutting it down to be honest and now it's back and running there's a few corals I could kick myself for getting rid of. I'm happy to have gotten rid of a couple fish I never could have if I didn't break it down so dam if you do darn if you don't. We still may move so I'll just cross that bridge when I get there Your photo skillz are getting there Glad you restarted yet?
John Ford October 16, 2015 Author October 16, 2015 (edited) I really do enjoy my Jawfish. I almost bought a Bluespot but I'm happy I grabbed this one. Edited October 16, 2015 by John Ford

John Ford November 9, 2015 Author November 9, 2015 An Orange one and a Neon green with yellow tips. I think my chalice was too close and I didn't catch it until it was too late Looking good! What kind of torches did you lose?
