Bubble algae eater

Desjardini sailfin tang eating bubble algae like candy. The rock came from my sump. I should mention that these fish need a 200g or larger tank. for smaller tanks I have seen emerald crabs do good work.

Can we just bring you rock to keep him fed? Wouldn't want the poor baby to starve,lol (p.s. why does it like to be on the freaking powerheads! Ugh... )

I have had success with a tomini tang and one spot foxface combo.  Tank is completely clean of bubble algae!

I have a Hippo and a Naso that eats BA.

My mag foxface doesn't allow algae to grow anywhere in my tank. It is really nice to be bubble algae and GHA free

I actually do like the red bubble algae.  Cool orange dots on it.  It doesn't grow in the display, but does grow in my bucket based chaeto factory.

I have seen a purple tang eat bubble algae. But the tang wanted you to hold the rock for him. Lol

My yellow tang eats the bubble algea also.

uhg what a nightmare. I don't know what I will do when this bad boy dies. It is cool how its free food for him another free food source he loves is chaeto and spinach!
