Type of tank- sps lps or mixed reef Target phosphate level Current phosphate level Or don't check phosphate unless nuisance algae shows up Most people know I'm dosing po4 which is a rarity in itself and it seems so far the more I dose the happier my tank this is what sparks my curiosity so don't be shy
wildcrazyjoker81 July 8, 2014 July 8, 2014 Mixed reef. Target level is um....I guess 0, current level...whatever it wants to be at. I don't test for phosphate pretty much ever. I know I have some as I scrape algae off the glass, but nothing in my tank has let me know something is off.

howaboutme July 9, 2014 July 9, 2014 95% SPS Target PO4: No algae Current: Have some hair and bubble algae. Don't test PO4.
gmerek2 July 9, 2014 July 9, 2014 Mixed reef. I don't test but have to run GFO all day every day or massive algae outbreak in frag tank only. (Strongest lights)
