Gatortailale March 26, 2006 Author March 26, 2006 First off, big thanks to dbartco for his help today moving over rock from 125 & 120 to new tank. Doug, you the man! Few pics. Still need to work on rock on left side, ran out of time/ energy to do more, went from 11-6 with no food or water ugg. & no breakfast before that Found this worm in the 120 under a rock. Anyone want it? What is it. Bristle of some snort?
ErikS March 26, 2006 March 26, 2006 Enucid worm? (something like that, forget the name). Looks like a jr version of the 7' worm Steve Weast pulled out of his tank.
dbartco March 26, 2006 March 26, 2006 Enucid worm? (something like that, forget the name). Looks like a jr version of the 7' worm Steve Weast pulled out of his tank. It was a bristle of some sort. Glad I didn't put my hand on it. Picked it off with some channel locks! Bunches of the bristles came off.

Armson March 26, 2006 March 26, 2006 That's a fireworm, Of course the only time I have seen them that big was when I was diving in the ocean. Byron
Guest alex wlazlak March 27, 2006 March 27, 2006 i hate seeing things like that, because some how, they can be in any of our tanks' and we wouldnt know till you move around rock. cant the fire worms mess you up?
Gatortailale March 28, 2006 Author March 28, 2006 well, combining tanks leaves me with 27 fish I plan to keep in new tank, and I still have a few to sell off. Here is the keeper list: Euxiphipops Navarchus Blue Girdled / Majestic Angelfish 1 Pomacanthus Imperator Imperator / Emperor Angelfish 1 Centropyge Loriculus Flame Angelfish 1 Centropyge Bispinosus Coral Beauty Angelfish 1 Centropyge Potteri Potter's Pygmy Angelfish 1 Pseudanthias Squamipinnis Lyretail Anthias / Scalefin Anthias 2 Pseudanthias Bimaculatus Bimaculatus Anthias / Twospot or Twinspot Anthias 3 Zanclus Canescens Moorish Idol 1 Acanthurus Coeruleus Atlantic Blue Tang 1 Zebrasoma Xanthurum Purple Tang 1 Zebrasoma Flavescens Yellow Hawaiian Tang 4 Paracanthurus Hepatus Regal Tang 1 Amphiprion Ocellaris Ocellaris Clownfish / False Percula Clownfish 2 Nemateleotris Decora Purple Firefish 3 Synchiropus Splendidus Green Mandarin 1 Pseudochromis fridmani Fridmani Pseudochromis / Orchid Dottyback 1 Chrysiptera Parasema Yellowtail Damsel 1 Cirripectes Castaneus Eyelash Blenny 1 Gobiodon Atrangulatus Green Clown Goby 1 and orders from the boss (wife) said I had to put all 4 yellow tangs in and not sell any off since they were friends in the 125 tank. So, I put the tangs in last night and they all seemed to play fine (7 of them). Atlantic Blue is the biggest / new tank boss, even bigger than my emperor
JMsAquarium March 28, 2006 March 28, 2006 Nice looking tank Craig. Keep up the good work and soon it will be beautiful. :2thumbsup:
Ne0eN March 28, 2006 March 28, 2006 Wow, That's a lot of fish! Are you sure you want to keep that Yellow Tail Damsel? We've had 3 of them in our 260 gal reef - they kept ganging up on our firefish... What fish are you selling? -Rob
BeltwayBandit March 29, 2006 March 29, 2006 http://www.oregonreef.com/sub_worm.htm Steve west worm Nice worm you have there. I used to have a 4 footer in my tank. I haven't seen him in a couple of years so I don't know if he is still there or not.

Gatortailale April 9, 2006 Author April 9, 2006 Liveaquaria First I read most of this thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...threadid=607477 Talked to a few who were keeping them. Then signed up on liveaquaria for email alert when in stock. The RC thread seems to say they are hit or miss in a reef tank - meaning some will nip at corals. Only thing I see it pick at is a little sponge which is part of their diet. So far it's fat and happy - just like me. But I heard of one that was fine in a reef tank for a few months and then picked on a milli.
Gatortailale September 10, 2006 Author September 10, 2006 nice superman! I wouldn't have nothing if I didn't have you! Thanks for selling me a frag - which also protects the coral by keeping it going in more than one system to prevent loss should a problem ever arise. No I just need to catch a yellow and send your way
