HgrReefs October 16, 2013 October 16, 2013 I went with a guy in Pa who was selling frags as well. This guy used FedEx Ground overnight, (might as well have used USPS, about the same service). The 6 frags I ordered ended up somewhere other than my house, as they showed delivered at 11am that day (in July). Found them the next morning at my door with a note from the person they got delivered to by mistake. To my surprise, everything lived! Total of 2 days bagged sitting in the July sun for a full day...

And the thing about shipping these animals is yeah we usually get our money back or credit, but it is an animal and didn't need to die. i agree. there are slip up and mistakes some times and nothing much we can do but throughout the course of it there were five or six times where something could have been done and all was promised and nothing fulfilled. quite an experience. That happened to me once and it sucked i know.... What was it suppose to look like? it was purple, yellow, orange, with clouds/speckled. it was and and a good starter size for the propagation system at around 5" Edited October 17, 2013 by monkiboy

Yeah FedEx or ups. I'm not concerned about wasting money. Just it's sad to have an animal in a box bouncing around for days. Probably being thrown and crushed into trucks by workers who hate their jobs.

zygote2k October 17, 2013 October 17, 2013 I guess it keeps my concious clear cus I didn't order to have that animal in a box lol All of your fish and livestock are ordered, then shipped in many thousands of boxes per day. Sometimes they are in transit for 48-72 hours depending on where they are shipped from.
