Looks awesome. Whats your secret with that amazing sun coral colony???

Every 2-3 days I feed krill to my Aussie Elegance. When I do, I also tear up shrimp into chunks and feed each individual sun polyp. I always have to save 2 shrimp heads for my skunk cleaner shrimp beforehand, otherwise they start jumping on my arm and poking me till I give them some... LOL

If you take a look further up when we originally got it and what we have now (maybe half a year later?) It has developed a lot more polyps.

Sun Coral- shady area (cave) and feed each individual polyp small pieces of krill 2-3 times a week with tweezers.

First before krill pez spot feeds each coral with oyster feast and Phytoplankton 2.0 mixed. With food in water sun coral opens fully then feeds krill. Aussie gets large krill each time too

I love all your coral choices. Well done! This is coming along nicely!

A few trial and error that we learned our lesson on but so far so good on coral.

You guys also seem really diligent about spot feeding, I'm sure that's helping a lot. I have just started spot feeding with Reef Roids, and that's already a bit of a pita. That Sun Coral colony is really popping, as mentioned above!

Yeah Pez spot feeds every coral at least twice a week a mix of Oyster Eggs and Zooplankton 2.0 (turns off pumps for this) The big boys get the krill (sun coral, AE, and a few others) I am thinking about adding Cycopleze (sp) as I heard a lot of corals love it!

If the fish don't take it out first from what I have heard...

Thank you!

Yes we finally found our boy a girlfriend on Saturday. The photo came out awesome too as you can see the difference between the boy and girl as they both have their fins raised. They are cute together except he still sleeps with my jawfish LOL
