Leishman March 11, 2013 March 11, 2013 I'm listing this for a friend who just moved to FL - if that's OK. - 1/2" acrylic No scratches (that's a reflection in the photo) - 96x24x24 with 45 deg corners (cut 1/2 way back) ~230g - Black acrylic stand and hinged hood - 3 fake coral islands (outer 2 contain drains) Tank and stand only. Tank must be picked up in Gaithersburg the afternoon of Sunday March 24th! It will not be emptied 'till that date, and it must be gone by Monday the 25th at the latest. I can post more picturesif this thread is OK $350 cash OBO
Leishman March 11, 2013 Author March 11, 2013 No sump. Yes reef ready, the overflows are in the two outer fake coral structures.
Cliff Puckstable March 11, 2013 March 11, 2013 Wow, I wish I could fit that in my house. That's one heck of a deal.
Leishman March 11, 2013 Author March 11, 2013 *this tank is on the 7th floor of an office building off Montgomery Village Ave. There is an elevator...... My co-worker retired and moved to FL. This is in his old office.
davelin315 March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 Rik, it's fine but he should probably list it as his one and only out of the hobby/moving sale.
zygote2k March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 A clarification on this tank- The right side deco has the return- 1" bulkhead with standpipe and check valve. The left side deco has the drain- 1.5" bulkhead with standpipe. Both decos are made for this particular tank and lift out from the top openings. Tank is in very good condition and all acrylic components are regularly polished.
AlanM March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 I would love to get it and donate it to our child care center, but as cool as it would be, a tank this size is an ongoing financial committment that would be hard to justify. We would have to hire weekly trips by Rob to keep it going.
AlanM March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 There you go. Someone in Montgomery Village. Reef addict, if you end up getting it and needing help moving it on the 24th, I can probably assist.

AlanM March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 Right, whoever gets it, I can help get it out of Montgomery Village. Just if someone local gets it I can also help get it out of the truck at the other end. 8)
reef addict March 13, 2013 March 13, 2013 So how was the lucky guy that got this tank? Rik never replied to my PM, so assumed it was sold.
Leishman March 13, 2013 Author March 13, 2013 Sorry guys, Work is killing me with the closure of this office and the moving to a new one next Friday. The tank is sold pending payment and pickup. Thanks for all the interest. WAMAS is an awesome club, and I can't wait to set my tank back up this summer. -Rik
