I am astounded how quickly this has cleared up. I owe a lot to Tom for coming out and taking a look and seeing the green that I was missing. It's always nice to have that second set of eyes on something.

 

Now hopefully something else doesn't take te place of that last bloom.

Looks like the DI resin wasn't packed properly. It's supposed to be stuffed full, not loose like it looks in the picture with the gap up top. You don't want the resin moving around like in a fluildized reactor or it won't work fully.

Good point. BRS (in a video) instructs to pack the resin in firmly. Otherwise channels can form and lead to inconsistent and partial ion removal.

That was direct from AWS, and the new ones I got was prepacked by AWS and it does seem to have a bit more, but dont think it was packed in.
