Kalk reactor users

Regardless of the type of reactor you use, how often do you;

 

add fresh kalk to your reactor

 

remove and replace existing kalk in your reactor

I refresh once per week because I never put in more than can be used in about that time.

 

I clean it out whenever I see a bunch of residue at the bottom that's not dissolving. That's about once every 3 to 6 months or so.

I pour a cup of dry kalk into mine and then dump it out every month and start over.

I add fresh kalk to my kalk reactor usually once a week, about 10 heaping tsp or so. Beginning of every month I dump the reactor out, clean it and start fresh.

Refresh once a week(ish) replace once a month(ish).

On a good day, I will add kalk 6 or 7 times. As will the other guys. :o)
