slowbiker December 3, 2009 Author December 3, 2009 (edited) I have a 100 gallon rubbermaid agricultural container I used for the sump, $40 I think brand new is about $80~$100 plus very expensive shipping charge. I think I paid about $50 due to the size. If you google 100 gallon rubbermaid agricultural container, you should get pictures and specs. If wanted I can email out pictures as well. kngfisher December 4, 2009 December 4, 2009 2. 125 gallon glass tank, 30 7/8 (h), 48 6/16(w), 24 3/8(d) with a light oak finished stand. $200 you sure that it is a 125? those dimensions are for a 150H tank
slowbiker December 4, 2009 Author December 4, 2009 (edited) you sure that it is a 125? those dimensions are for a 150H tank Hmm... It's been a while since I paid attention to that. But 125g is what I thought I bought... :-) I just did a quick math. 125g: 30.875 x 48.375 x 24.375 = 36405.9668 ratio = 1.147123344 100g: 23.5 x 73 x 18.5 = 31736.75 Even with a significant margin of error in my measuring, 125g does not come out to be 1.5 times of 100g. So, I think I'm still safe to call it 125g tank. :-) Edited December 4, 2009 by slowbiker
Origami December 4, 2009 December 4, 2009 Your 125 is really a 150 gallon tank. At 30-inches, it's pretty deep. You're 100 gallon is a 125. (1 gallon = 231 cubic inches)
slowbiker December 4, 2009 Author December 4, 2009 Oh? Well... It's a good thing that I have the dimensions listed. :-)

DaveS December 4, 2009 December 4, 2009 Hey slowbiker, Glad to see you found the board! Guys, this is a friend of mine that inspired me to get me back into reefing. His stuff was pretty nice back in the day. I tried to get him to set it back up now that I'm doing it too but no luck. All his stuff is in very good condition when I saw it last!

slowbiker December 5, 2009 Author December 5, 2009 The last piece I have is a custom built light and ballast. $300 OBO It was built to for my 125/150g :-) tank. two bulbs, requires two outlets connections. I can't remember the bulb rating. Sorry. Just temporarily hung on a weight rack to test and take pictures. I cut a hole in the ballast cover to attach a cooling fan. It was making my tank run too hot. :-(

slowbiker December 5, 2009 Author December 5, 2009 FYI, I have been corrected by a couple of people that the 100g is really 125g and the 125g is 150 gallons.
