Unloading used equipment

Hi I'm new to the forum.

I was hoping my little boy would be excited about fish. But just didn't work out. So I have some used equipment to unload. I don't have everything inventoried yet. But I will post them as I get around to it. :-)

1. EV240 (w/ waste container) from proteinskimmer.com. Retails for $400. sale for $150.

2. 125 gallon glass tank, 30 7/8 (h), 48 6/16(w), 24 3/8(d) with a light oak finished stand. $200

3. 100 gallon glass tank, 23 1/2(h), 73 (w), 18 1/2 (d) with a stand, $100

125 and 100 gallon tanks have two 1 3/4" holes drilled near the top for return lines.

4. 40 gallon fresh tank with small fresh water fish, $20

5. EBO-Jager Model TS 250 watt heater, $10

6. Top Fin water heater, can't tell wattage, $5

I have two light systems, multiple water pumps, air pumps, and other small stuff.

Thanks

PS I'm located in Chantilly, VA, near South Riding, zip 20152

I have pictures to email if you are interested.

I have a 100 gallon rubbermaid agricultural container I used for the sump, $40

I think brand new is about $80~$100 plus very expensive shipping charge. I think I paid about $50 due to the size.

If you google 100 gallon rubbermaid agricultural container, you should get pictures and specs. If wanted I can email out pictures as well.

Hmm... It's been a while since I paid attention to that. But 125g is what I thought I bought... :-)

I just did a quick math.

125g: 30.875 x 48.375 x 24.375 = 36405.9668 ratio = 1.147123344

100g: 23.5 x 73 x 18.5 = 31736.75

Even with a significant margin of error in my measuring, 125g does not come out to be 1.5 times of 100g. So, I think I'm still safe to call it 125g tank. :-)

Your 125 is really a 150 gallon tank. At 30-inches, it's pretty deep.

You're 100 gallon is a 125.

(1 gallon = 231 cubic inches)

Hey slowbiker, Glad to see you found the board!

Guys, this is a friend of mine that inspired me to get me back into reefing. His stuff was pretty nice back in the day. I tried to get him to set it back up now that I'm doing it too but no luck. All his stuff is in very good condition when I saw it last!

The last piece I have is a custom built light and ballast. $300 OBO

It was built to for my 125/150g :-) tank. two bulbs, requires two outlets connections. I can't remember the bulb rating. Sorry.

Just temporarily hung on a weight rack to test and take pictures. I cut a hole in the ballast cover to attach a cooling fan. It was making my tank run too hot. :-(

FYI, I have been corrected by a couple of people that the 100g is really 125g and the 125g is 150 gallons.
