I have to vouch for the reliability of Tunze powerheads... it's the only one I have. The bracket broke off within a month or so of getting it, and I reconnected it to the magnet with wire ties. I put it in my 33-gallon frag tank well over a year ago, and haven't touched it since. Almost covered with Green Star Polyps that are climbing up the side of the tank. I cleaned it up yesterday, and it's working great. Part of my 'clean up the mess in that 33-gallon tank' project.
