zygote2k February 19, 2011 February 19, 2011 Nice tank. Have you found any corals that will kill the blue cloves that I see encrusting on the bases of your corals? I have found out that Purple Nurple Montipora will grow over the blue cloves.
watson_barrett February 20, 2011 Author February 20, 2011 Rob, haven't really paid much attention or noticed the BCPs bothering any of my SPS to a point of it being a concern but maybe the forest fire digi. I'm sure there are others as well. I have noticed that they don't seem to do too well in lower temps, say like 74-77.
Chad February 20, 2011 February 20, 2011 I have noticed that they don't seem to do too well in lower temps, say like 74-77. I can second this observation, I have tried a couple of times to add them to my 72F tank, they do not grow for me.
