Okay, so I have three sexy anemone shrimp in my 2.5 pico tank. I really like how they add movement and personality to my tank. The problem is that they are so annoying. They crawl all over my corals and it seems like thier ultimate goal is to keep my zoanthids closed. A while back, they got washed into the refugium portion of the tank, and all the corals have opened up and it looks great. Now the question is whether or not I put them back in the main portion or I try to sell them off. Not sure what I should do. If I do sell them off, I would like something else in the tank to add some movement that does not irratate the corals and myself.

I have a 3 gallon Pico and I just got a rock covered with palys and my sexy shrimp are all over it. The palys are fine. They haven't closed at all. The shrimp are all over my anemone too and they don't close either. Maybe give a little more time. If you really don't want them anymore let me know.

get a small fish such as a neon goby, engineer goby, etc. look in the goby section on LA, the majority of those look WAY bigger than they actually are and would do fine in a small tank.

I've given it at least 3 months. My palys don't care either. It is just my zoas that are irritated.

I've got zoas in there too. They aren't effected either. BRK has very nice Firefish that look great in pico tanks. I purchased 2 yeaterday. They're tiny, docile and very colorful. the price can't be beat. Oh, very healthy and hardy fish too. Mine started eating right away. Not shy. They need places to hide in rock formation when stressed and to sleep.

Helfrichis? HE double hockey sticks NO. That's just nuts for a newbie. I made a lid out of acrylic and egg crate last night. I saw these guys jump from one tank to the other at BRK. I also learned from the tail spot that I lost and then found behind the table on the floor 2 weeks ago.

Agreed... I have a Yashia Goby (and matching pistol shrimp) that has been in my tank 1.5 years, and is still just over an inch long.

I'm looking for some sexy shrimp. I'm in Manassas for my 14 biocube.

I see your a fair weather caps fan.

Wrong. I support the Caps with everything I have, and ,as any self-respecting capsfan knows, I brutally HATE HATE HATE the Penguins! If that means becoming a die-hard Wings fan until the end of the season, I will do it! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! Soon as the Stanley cup is over, I will again be a sole fan of the Washington Capitals organization. But until then, LETS GO WINGS!
