Local source for black egg crate?

Anybody know a local source for black egg crate?

Never seen it. Why does it have to be black?

Contemplating using it for a frag rack inside the display. White egg crate is just so "obvious."

I could paint white egg crate with Krylon Fusion but I'm guessing that egg crate made from black plastic is more durable in the long run.

I found one sheet of black egg crate at ACME Plastics about a year before they closed their shop in Alexandria. I asked if he could get more and he said, "Sure. How many cases of 40 sheets do you want?" I haven't seen it anywhere else around here since then.

It's not local but they have Black EggCrate Silver or White. But you have to buy a case at a time. Maybe we should look into a group buy and get a case. I would like a few pieces for my frag tank I am getting ready to start soon.

I'm out of town this week but will continue the search for a local source when I get back.

My white eggcrate always seems to be one of the quickest things in the tank to get coralline algae on it. So it never 'stands out' for very long.

it was done with krylon fusion which is a reef safe spray paint, i have another can if it still sealed if you need some

This is only a case of 10...seems like it would be easy to find enough folks interested to buy 10.
