Tromni April 7, 2008 April 7, 2008 Hello WAMAS! I just joined here and would like to say hi to everybody. I'm converting from the world of freshwater, where I was reasonably successful. This will be my first saltwater tank. I've been researching the possibilty of setting up a nano reef for a while now after having seen some neat ones online and on display in the local stores. This weekend, at my fiancees urging, I took the plunge and bought a Biocube 14. I'm planning on setting up a simple soft coral reef. My favorites are definitely ricordias and zoanthids. Just gonna take it nice and slow with this first tank. I'm thinking this weekend will be the big live rock purchase, assuming my tank passes the freshwater leak test tonight. So that's my little story. I'll be sure to update with pictures and questions as they come up.
dbartco April 7, 2008 April 7, 2008 Welcome. Keep us updated, take it slow, and ask a ton of questions. The experience of the members of this club are an invaluable resource. -invest in some quality test kits (salifert for ex.) -ask here for some opinions before you buy. -enjoy!
