I have to get this frag quarantine tank under control with the aptasia. so what might a copperband eat as far as corals go. Rozzens has a small one for $30.00. eddi March 28, 2008 Share March 28, 2008 Copperbands are known to eat feather dusters; they are also rumored to pick at a clam's mantle, but I have had CBs and clams in every single one of my tanks, andI have never had a problem. Curtis My CB ate all the feather dusters off my rocks and the big one I had in the sand, but it has stayed away from my SPS (only two though, not a tank full of it). For the loss of those things... its awesome to not have aptaisia, bristle worms, or those clear sand worms! They're beautiful too!
