  1. Ok grav, I'll take it, and even pay you for it if it is a green one Can't believe roses are below $10 on some wholesale sheets these days. I need to get some green ones Scott
  2. Cheers :( 6100 Stream? Which controller are you using? I use a 7094 without issues to date. If you are serious about getting rid of it, they seriously hold their value, don't dump it in a fit of rage. But if you do HAVE to dump it, I'll add it to my collection
  3. Chris, If you have a candy cane frag to share, that would be great. If not, consider it a gift. Scott PS: Please try to find me early, I have to bail at 11am to head off to my son's birthday party :D
  4. Not likely going to make it without having a very specialized system. Leave the blue or black variety in the ocean where they have a chance. The exception is a "white ribbon eel" which can be long lived when a proper diet can be established. Still not a good candidate for a reef tank although it's main diet will be strictly fish it can get in it's mouth.
  5. Chris, I'll bring you a green tip/brown one head E. ancora (hammer) if you have not found one.
  6. ....and looking for some plastic screening material to cover your overflow to protect the next one. Not knowing your setup, some plastic gutter screen may do the job for you.
  7. You need to add your logo to that ;>) Looks great.
  8. Aquatic World, formerly Total Pets.
  9. Yikes! I am not sure that is one I would like to meet on a dive, 6' gave me the willies :p
  10. A 29 drilling is a walk in the park, but it is a $30+ drill bit, and a bit of experience in knowing when the disk is going to drop out so it does not chip. In my opinion, pay someone the 10-20 dollars and have it drilled. PS: I have the bits and a drill press and would charge you the same. The bits are only good for so many holes and the risk of the driller is high
  11. Start your research here: http://www.wamas.org/cgi-bin....=manage I am sure some of the members are not listed or maybe even left off one or two ;>) Cheers.
  12. Most softies, shrooms, and even some LPS will be fine under 4x30wt or 4x40wt. You'll be on the low end, so research well first. Some like the fiji yellow leathers would be upset by the low light level ;>)
  13. Yep, but be careful with end caps, wire/tube retention, etc. etc.
  14. I would suspect the pH swings are contributing some stress, which could easily trigger a split whether or not that was the anemone's plan. If it is fully extended, try feeding it now. Splitting is pretty stressful itself and they heal up far faster with less "absorbtion" when they are well fed. Good luck and if it is a nice green color, I'd be interested in a trade for a clone
  15. Michael, I am targeting small fish which apparently went immediately :( There is chance they might get some in today or tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath. Scott
  16. Michael, Just got back in from a trip. I am calling them now to confirm stock Scott
  17. I can pull off next friday, Mon and Tues I will be out of town. Do you need me to accept delivery? Scott
  18. Michael, They just got in a few I have been hunting, when were you looking to move on the order? Scott
  19. Very grand achievement. Enjoy the trip and build on it
  20. Asking for trouble with the proposed mix of clowns in smaller then a 6' tank. Even then is quite a risk.
  21. Tunze has new magnetic mounts on the way. As stated check out the tunze forum on RC.
  22. Congrats on the soon to be new couple. The little one is still a juvenile and IME that greatly helps the pairing situation. fwiw: I would not be surprised if spawning is 9-12 months off at soonest. Feed heavy
  23. I have brought anemone in small coolers and thermoses, which have gone through the xray. IME, they have not taken the time to hand inspect post 9/11 unless you are flying off hours. Good luck.
  24. Best case you can reuse the ballast and bulb for a frag tank. Worst case it is a high pressure sodium system and it is a loss. Not worth the hassle without specific ballast information. Good luck.
  25. Hold off on feeding both but try some "cube" sized pieces or smaller in about 7 days. You may see the anemone grab the food, hold it for quite some time, then let it go 30mins to 1hr later. That may be because the oral cavity is not ready yet. Some splits may take up to 2 weeks, but I would expect less then 7 days for a natural split. Good luck.
