  1. Jamesbuf, Thanks. I've been planning an auto top off and this was the missing link. More to come. I'll post my experience.
  2. Perhaps too small for your needs but for various saltwater projects, I've used a Rubbermaid "Utility Tub" (comes in red). It is about 20 x 20 x 14 high. http://www.amazon.com/RUBBERMAID-INC-2976-...?tag=dogpile-20 http://www.drillspot.com/products/312394/R...Red_Utility_Tub (I wonder if they are discontinued? Spent a minute on the rubbermaid site but could not find it.) I purchased my locally (2 yrs ago) at Home Depot
  3. I had a Hippo in a 100 Gal (4 ft) and have to give him away when he was about 6" to 7" inches long.
  4. Any thoughts/recommendations on make/model/cost for a good magnifying glass? I have a magnivision but need something better.
  5. This is the primary reason I purchased a 100 gallon Tenecor acrylic tank: "The strength of acrylic tanks give their owners the peace of mind knowing that their tank will not crack, shatter, or blow out unexpectedly." The 100 gallon acrylic is also light enough that I can move it myself. (I had to do that for initial set-up as well as twice when we had a new floor installed in the den (once to move the tank to the utility room and agian to return it after the new floor was installed.)
  6. I used Nori for my Tangs. I've found it an Int'l food stores but also at a LARGE Safeway (for example, Nutley St. Fairfax, VA 22031). As I recall, Safeway was the least expensive. Steve
  7. Edit: Sales are restricted to the For Sale/Trade/WTB forums located in the WAMAS area of WAMAS.
  8. FREE TO GOOD HOME... 6" Yellow Belly Hippo Tang has outgrown the tank. I live in Oakton/Vienna (near Oakton High School)
