  1. Whats the worst that can happen? Get all tentacles chopped again and grow a 3rd mouth? If it does you will have to Photoshop Kuato pic.
  2. Woah...nem looks good. Ready for the clowns.
  3. Dang.... I was really thinking hard about that Trachy when it was up for sale. Hope you can work your magic on it as well as the Scoly.
  4. Nice. I like seeing the nem being bubbly. It's been awhile since I have it in a bubble tip shape in my tank.
  5. Thought mystery solved...what about the last pic? Same 5" as in the first pic?
  6. Isn't the clam in the first pic?

    FYI

Yes. Adam Oberheim is/was a member here(@ExoticAquaticsVA), based out of Alexandria I think. I have had him helped me out with emergency plumbing issues before. A good guy. Sorry to see the trouble with the name confusion.
  8. Looking good. Looks like a nem again. I think the 7 o'clock spot is where it was forming back from the cut.
  9. I told you were going to create a Franken-nem. Recall this mother had 2 feet when it got split. So, I am not surprise if it does have 2 mouths. Congrats Dr.
  10. I thought it looked familiar. Thanks for confirming. I got 2 of them from Biota(To qualify for free shipping) and one is "fluffier" than the other, but both are great specimen.
  11. Very nice. Where did you get that long polyp toadstool in the 1:15 mark of the video? Thanks.
  12. I know you listed alot of corals forsale. Do you have less corals now then before so the alk isn't been consumed as much?
  13. That's good to see. What if the mutilation morphed its DNA and you get flaming hot pink tentacles with streaking purple splotches? If that's the case, I am gonna need one back.
  14. Cool that you are documenting this for educational value. What bulbs you using for the T5s? Maybe switch to purple or blue+ to eliminate the washed out brightness?
  15. It's nice to see it is fully inflated and not slowly melting away. This guy is a fighter.
  16. It makes me squimish to look at those pics and I took a pair of scissors to that guy.
  17. Can you see the mouth clearly? If no damage to that, I think you should be in the clear.
  18. Sucks to see. But this guy is pretty resilient. As I have mentioned, this guy is a two legged nem. When I tried to move it over a year ago, I accidentally tore its body when I thought I was in the clear getting one foot off the rock while not seeing another foot was locked in to another rock. I quickly split it by manually tearing without a knife or scalpel. When I went to split this guy a couple of weeks ago, we were lucky that cutting the mouth in half did not require cutting through any part of each foot. I think that's why it healed pretty quickly and the foot in your photo showed it so big. I think it will recover over a couple of weeks, as long as the clowns do not jump on it like my boys jumping on a bean bag. Will check with progress and let me know how I can help.
  19. Glad we waited an extra week for the nem to heal before letting the clowns go to town. Looking bubbly too.
  20. Wow yeah. Great recovery. I do feed about 1.5 hour before lights are out. Do you spot feed with the majority of the flow off? Mine usually open backs up within 15mins of feeding.
  21. Looking better. Yes, spot feeding it reef roids or Goniopower is key. Sometime I even use Red Sea AB+ with Goniopower mxed in it plus some tank water and I get some pretty good extension afterwards.
  22. No grommet for my Nyos 160. Looks like yours.
  23. Gonis are tough. I used to have issues keeping mine alive, but since getting tank raised ones, I have had pretty good success. I would leave it in a low flow area with light. I would feed Goniopower or Benepets a couple of times a week(when the polyps are out) to see if it recovers. Good luck.
  24. Awesome fish collection. How did you train your Yellow Belly Regal to eat pellets or flakes?
