  1. It seems bare is easiest maintenance. Cleaner. But I can't help but love the look of natural sand. Maybe some sort of sand glued to a board? I think someone mentioned this sort of idea somewhere. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  2. Wow, that's gorgeous Gadgets! I don't mind the maintenance and like the look of sand. But love these success stories on other options Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  3. Opinions? Experience? Preferences? Pics would be nice as well I'm thinking I want a small black sandbed in my 20xH but would like to hear from you guys what your thoughts are on substrate or no substrate. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  4. Duke finally trekked home with all my corals so we'll see if he can snag a decent photo once they're nestled in the tank Thanks to everyone for the great hookups! I know this stuff would be an arm and a leg retail cost, and for y'all to deliver to meets is awesome :D Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  5. Fyi, pics and link no longer work... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  6. Hahahaha this thread sounds like a quote from the movie Mean Girls. "I heard Regina George modeled for cars. In Japan. She has two fendi purses and she drives a lexus." Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  7. So I finally got around to testing my sump and skimmer gonna let Duke use it on his frag tank until I get my stand built. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

  11. OH also, I am heavily considering seahorses for this tank set up. I'm having difficulty finding reliable seahorse breeders. Anyone have experience, wanna throw some tips/advice my way? I will be looking into DIY chillers like the evaporative system that was posted earlier in this thread so the temperature will stay cool enough for them." Current concerns: -I still want a pair of clowns and an anemone. Compatibility with seahorses? nvm, apparently not compatible at all. boo. back to the drawing board. I will begin some research as well but I always love to hear y'alls opinions
  12. Sump is ready to go 10g with acrylic baffles. SCA-301 skimmer and a Mag Drive 5 return pump Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  13. We do have those but these are kind of microscopic. Just comcerned and wanting to make sure its nothing to be alarmed about. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

  15. There are only two damsels in there... and one of them recently got ich. Idk how tho. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  16. Ok. Haha breathing. Ill try. Thanks Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  17. Well I don't think that's it but now that I'm thinking about it, would having a bare bottom tank make them more visable. From what I ever understood about them they lived in the sandbed and I'm sure my sand sifting starfish consumed them but maybe now since I've removed the sandbed (getting ready to move to a 120g) they're showing up on the glass and flowing throughout? ?? 18. These itty bitty crumb-esque critters are infesting my BFs current tank and I think its giving the fish ich. idk... Theyre clearish with 6 or 8 little legs. All over the place. Sorry its a cell phone pic... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  19. Lol if they're anything like my freshwater craycray fish then it'll make more mess than anything Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  20. Keep an eye on the cut and be aware of any strange bodily funtions, tenderness, etc. I have read of extremely rare cases where the injection makes you sick internally first before seeing physical signs. better safe than sorry. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
  21. Ohh I wanna drill my rocks. Think I could hit you up when I need it? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
  22. How much is the red leaf fish??? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
  23. Yea that's a big fear of mine is fish swimming behind a powerhead and getting made into sashimi... seahorses I'd consider once I can figure out a way to chill the tank during warmer weather. I've noticed on these colder nights if I keep my leds at low intensity, the temp drops to 74º... and up to 79º on high intensity Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
  24. So, I've been advised that for my 20xH tank, I will need lots of flow. I would like to have as little equipment as possible in the display tank since its so small. I'm thinking of a Tunze Nanostream and one of them rocks to cover it near the bottom so it points kind of upwards. Idk. Suggestions? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
