  1. If you need to find some beefier ball casters, here is a good site for them: http://www.mscdirect.com/browse/tn/Material-Handling-Storage/Material-Transport/Casters-Glides/Spherical-Ball-Casters-Ball-Transfers/Ball-Transfers?navid=12105667 I would suggest steel balls in lieu of the nylon balls you appear to have.
  2. Isn't that how always is? The stuff you don't want always does well... I figure at $25 per mushroom they must not spread quickly.
  3. Lately I have seen some really cool St Thomas Mushrooms with amazing colors. Has anyone out there had any luck with them? I am a little reluctant to put them in the tank if they act like all the other mushrooms in my tank and take over. Check out the pics of these cool St Thomas Mushrooms.
  4. Looks like a melted bag of crayons. Tricia - I'll buy a small frag if you get it.....
  5. C. rubrimarginatus “Pink Margin Fairy”: Occasionally available, somewhat expensive. Generally peaceful, except with C. lineatus C. lubbocki “Lubbock’s Fairy”: One of the smallest of the genus. Often available at an affordable cost. Two variants of coloration. While generally not overly aggressive, they will stand their ground quite well for their size. C. solorensis “Red-Headed Solon Fairy”: Commonly available, inexpensive. Generally aggressive with other C. cyanopleura “Blue-Sided Fairy”: One of the larger species in the genus (6”). Usually peaceful. There is a great deal of variation within this species depending upon collection region. These look like some good choices. Any thoughts or comments? 6. ^^^Sounds like a foreign film festival movie with all this flasher, fairy, and fox face talk. Then you throw in Isaac's comment about stocking.......... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I'm new to wrasses as you can tell. Thanks for the info. I'll look those guys up.
  8. I'm looking for a peaceful wrasse to add some color and character to my tank. I had a bad experience with an aggressive fish, so I would like to get some feedback from some of you that have wrasses. My current livestock is: Foxface one spot (2) small clowns (occellaris) Royal Gramma Bicolor Blenny I have an SPS 60 gallon cube with sand and crushed coral. Any thoughts? Ben
  9. I actually have a Waveline DC-6000, not a Jabeo. It actually has 12 speed settings if you include the half steps. Here are a couple of reviews: http://www.saltysupply.com/Waveline-DC6000-Internal-External-Pump-w-Controlle-p/h2o1169.htm
  10. +1 on the DC-6000. I love mine. It is quiet and controllable.
  11. TJIs are significantly stronger than solid wood joists.
  12. Not enough pods yet. Someday I do want a dragnet, but it's too soon for my tank. Half of my live rock is from my old tank with pods, but the rest was dry so no pods. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. You win monkiboy.....well played. That is pretty sweet.
  14. Gosh dang!!! Didn't get an email from DD. I am checking my spam now. Someone else got them looks like!!
  15. Here is my island. iPhone pics....bad color and bad lighting, but you can get an idea of the shape. The last one is from down low looking up at the island.
  16. I agree, coming home to a trail of scratches all over your display would not be a good thing. Cool idea, but taking the human aspect out of the cleaning is probably not the best thing.
  17. Looks pretty cool. Don't know if it works. It looks like a Rumba for your tank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwsEwuSJRsA My tank isn't really big enough for one, but I figured some of you guys may have a use for it. Looks like a pretty cool idea. I assume they will be at MACNA for a hands on. Ben
  18. So who wins in territory battle between zoa/paly and SPSs? Will zoas grow over SPSs or will the SPS fend off the zoas? I wouldn't mind having zoas if they don't take over all the real estate. Basically infills until the SPSs take off.
  19. Awesome growth!! Beautiful.
  20. s2nhle - Funny you should suggest that!! On Sunday I traded my old 30g setup for a bunch of zoas from a WAMAS member. Since I have no zoa skills, I have some learning to do about the light requirements for the zoas I have. Do you think they would do well under overhangs and such? treesprite - I may take you up on that. I actually work in Lanham.
  21. I'm looking for stuff to go on the sides of the column so I don't think the Chalice will work, but the blue sponge and dendros are great ideas. Anybody have any more?
